So word has it the Seahawks are close to a deal that would secure JT in exchange for Jedarian Price and a high draft pick. So my question is how cooked would we be? I don't think the team as a whole is as good as it was last season but Taylor is an exact fit for them. If we are totally healthy I still give us the edge even with him but we know health is elusive to this squad.

Where is that being reported? Show the link or at least tell us where its being reported. I doubt the Colts trade Taylor unless that "high draft pick" is a #1

It's the word on the street. It isn't being reported by anyone.

"Word on the street" nowadays means some random X/Twitter account. Those same accounts that were pushing Garrett to the Niners a week ago .

Those accounts are so annoying, they always spread BS rumors.

This would be a brutally bad 1st round miss by the Seahawks. It's rare in NFL history that a 1st round pick is traded 6 games into their career.

Thankfully the rams & Seahawks had horrendous drafts this year and we had a good one

And imagine if they were to trade both Price and a 2027 1st? Bad IMO, and I think Price can be a very good back in the NFL.

That would be bad , I'd probably have them favorites to come out nfc if they pull that off, unless we respond of course with Garrett
Everyone talking about Mack but I think I would rather have Tuli at this point…

Idk why anyone thinks Wilson or Olave are gonna be traded, why would they deal them away? What is the appeal? Jets already have 3 1sts in 2027, just makes no sense to me that they'd trade them.

Because maybe they are spending 30 mil on a receiver to waste his prime years on a rebuilding team?

Add another 1st and draft a rookie who will cost 20 mil less.

It's not like they are winning games with Wilson.

Ok? And they 1. lose money in 2027 and 2. they already have over $80M In 2027 and over $180M in 2028, and they also have 3 1sts ij 2027, why would they trade him, take a cap loss, when they can keep him, and have him grow with a new franchise QB? It literally makes zero sense, this isn't Madden.

Edit: Also why trade a proven young talent for another 1st and take a unproven WR? So what it costs less when they already have a ton cap room in 2027 & 2028?

Clearly he's talking to Glazer, his former colleague from his broadcasting days at FOX. This is Lynch's way of avoiding heat from the fan base and SF media for not adding a WR. He can now say "look we tried to make a deal and it fell through." I'd put the chances of a WR addition at 0% now. He's gonna say "we like the guys we have and we think we will get back healthy."

lol I don't agree with this assessment at all. You're also jumping to conclusions - it could have been someone from minnesotas camp? Trying to show they want to trade him but Jennings prevented it.

sometimes this stuff is leaked to try and put pressure on teams, for example, "we know you tried to get Jennings and couldn't. So if you want our guy, up your offer. You're running low on options if you want a good WR you can plug in".

even if lynch did leak it, I don't see it as a big deal at all. Regardless of who did it, I don't see any of them as sleezy. Makes me think Jennings doesn't have a trade market, outside of us. I wonder if he has some personality issue that teams are concerned with? He was a great WR3 for us for years.

Correct. Makes zero sense and when a trade makes zero sense like that you'd have to massively overpay (2 firsts+) for them to consider.

I would love Wilson but it would be an incredibly risky trade if it's something the jets would even entertain (and I doubt they would without him requesting a trade, which he says he isn't)
