How bad is Lamar Jackson, out for the season?

Potentially from what I read. Maybe playoffs if they make it? They're not out but can escalate quickly as they are on their 3rd QB. Decosta will be feeling the heat even more now.

Don't forget he wants nothing to do with lynch.

He'd absolutely trade him for the right offer.

Dont know how confident they are in the rook. Huntley with a toe injury is an issue as we saw last year.

Ravens have missed Lamar for most of the season. I think their backup is Huntley, he's a good backup IMO. Hes nothing special but can win them games,

Oh damn, Huntley is hurt too? I didn't know. So they're on third string? If he has turf toe, that's brutal for a qb.

Left with toe injury. Haven't seen an official diagnosis yet.

lol according to Lombardi it was contingent on a video meeting with Jennings Lynch and Shanahan. Unclear if that meeting happened then Jennings said no thanks.
lol Jennings must be sour

1) 49ers offer Jauan Jennings more money than he has ever been offered.

2) Jauan Jennings turns down said offer.

3) Jauan Jennings test the free agent market.

4) Jauan Jenning signs with the Minnesota Vikings, for less money than what the Vikings offered, in a incentive laden deal.

5). Jauan Jennings languishes on the bench and has pretty much no chance in hitting those incentives

6) Jauan Jennings has a chance to come back to the 49ers, where he would actually be used, have an outside shot at hitting those markers, and raising his profile for when he hits free agency again in March 2027, for potentially a better contract.

7) Jauan Jennings says no.

Makes perfect sense to me.

He'd rather sit on the bench, doing nothing, and get offered a WR5 contract next spring. The saga of these 49ers receiver. I'm pretty much on board with just not paying any of them ever, unless we get Mike Evans/Jerry Rice vibes and pour money into other positions where we get more bang for our buck. We can just keep drafting receivers every year.
Surprised the Jennings stuff made it out in public. Not a good look at all for Lynch. Makes him look like a sleeze ball for leaking it to the media. Clearly he's talking to Glazer, his former colleague from his broadcasting days at FOX. This is Lynch's way of avoiding heat from the fan base and SF media for not adding a WR. He can now say "look we tried to make a deal and it fell through." I'd put the chances of a WR addition at 0% now. He's gonna say "we like the guys we have and we think we will get back healthy."
