I don't think were going to be making any big name trades..

i would trade Mac if that would help convince them to trade Wilson.

Cap hits is probably a bigger issue for them.

The jets got Mitchell in the trade for Sauce. They didn't draft him. They literally paid Wilson last yr. They currently have 3 picks in the top 13 and probably at least 2 that will be top 10.

The only players than make any sense for them to move are guys they don't plan on resigning/extending. Not a young stud WR they just paid.

trading them Mac makes no sense if they're tanking for a QB…it's not happening my guy.

So they have Wilson, Mitchell, and Cooper. That's a lot of WR wealth.

Mac would be a bridge QB for a few c years while they develop their future franchise QB.

This thread is all about dreaming. Just like every year before the draft we want a top OLineman and it never happens.

"we looked at who was available and like who we have on our roster"

Lynch already hinted he likes low cost moves like Keon last year. That will probably be again our move. We are not the Rams who will probably make another big swing.

I know we occasionally disagree, but here I am totally of the same mind. There's no chance in hell the Jets are trading Wilson, not to us, not to anyone. I can't see the Aints moving Olave either. Why would they? They're midway through their rebuild, they flashed now and then, their division is terrible and thus winnable, why tear it all down again?

Of the usual names bandied around, Buckner is very possible if we want him (and he doesn't still hate our guts for 2020). I'm wondering about Godwin too - let's have an all-Tampa receiving corps! Now with added injury proneness!

But my predictions are famously wrong (I picked us to go 7-10 this year), so who knows.

Why wouldn't the Jets move Wilson? They've already proven that they will deal young under contract players. See Sauce Gardner.

They specifically singled out Wilson as untouchable though, and that's (probably) still the case. They're going to want their next QB to have a reliable weapon.

Quinnen Williams and Sauce already gave them all the 2027 draft ammunition they need.
FWIW, I still think the ultimate "f them picks — win a Super Bowl right now" trade would be Jeffrey Simmons. One of the best run defenders in football. Arguably the best DT in football. He's 29. Titans are 1-5 and going nowhere. We have connection to Saleh, who might want CJ West or Alfred Collins or even Mac Jones (franchise tag) in a trade package.

I'm just saying. I think it has a higher chance of happening than a star WR trade.

Who is lol? I would say I'm more right than wrong…got no problem owning up to it when I am.

imo the jets aren't moving Wilson whom they just paid and is clearly part of their future. It would cost them $30M + in dead money…I think we should be a little realistic.

you want to look at that Jets…I would focus on Will McDonald.

If the saints are in the middle of their rebuild, then they need to blow it up

They literally just paid Olave in July. It's not happening lol.
That doesn't make their failed rebuild any better
Lynch better be on the phone with the Texans for will anderson jr and jets for Garrett Wilson , what he waiting for

Seriously, right? If he doesn't land at least Anderson and Wilson before the trade deadline he needs to be fired on the spot.

I know you're being sarcastic but since when has Anderson come up? He has a ton of prorated money left and would lose money in 2027

How about Brock's bud Will MCdonald ? I think he's purely a pass rusher and the jets rookie DE is doing well and is a 3 down player.
We're going to get Tyler Warren

If they can get him for a good price then yeah, he is signed for 2027 at about $13.5m but that's doable for next year, plus they can always redo it or extend him
I think you guys are crazy to think the Jets are going to sell young players for cheap. They got enough draft capital next year. If they are selling anything it's going to be the Breece Hall or older players. Perhaps if you overpaid they would consider it.

Here lies your problem.
