I'm with you on Robinson. I posted about him last week. He isn't the pass rusher Buckner is but he is a better run stopper...and at least one round cheaper in draft picks.

Buckner is the sentimental choice but would cost more at a time when we can't be sacrificing too much in future picks. I even wonder if the owner/GM would be willing to make a deal.

Buck is still a prime pass rusher and that will always be valuable (especially at IDL).

if they're content with who they got rushing the passer inside, then I would look elsewhere. Buck was always serviceable more than good at stopping the run.

I know we should be getting West back at some point and he was pretty good last yr, I just think he was playing hurt this yr.

I'm looking down the road, and I see Kansas City and Kenneth Walker in our future. If we cannot shut down Walker, we won't beat Mahomes and KC and grab a Lombardi.

I agree Buckner is still more than serviceable against the run, and would fit the locker room perfectly.

unfortunately on a collision course with the KC right now.

Buckner is lower on my list. Stopping K9 and whoever Seattle ends up bringing in at RB is paramount.

Well hopefully Mykel stays healthy, he will be a TREMENDOUS help against K9. Still like a run stuffer in the middle though…

I am still in shock that KC is this good.

Feels like fools gold but they are pretty sharp with Walker.

Wish someone would beat them up a little.

Why don't they have to put 10+ people on IR.

when is it their turn haha

Last year was their turn… we need reinforcements to beat them.
Another Super Bowl loss to KC would be historic, demoralizing, embarassing, and potentially break the organization & fan base. It cannot happen for a third time in seven years.

Make every move possible with the soul intent of finally beating them when it matters most. I don't care what it takes as a fan.

And you know the haters who are "fans" of ours would love that, just to throw it in Kyle's face and John's face as to say fire both like they always do

Stribling is a week 12 at the earliest. He is also a receiver that flashed in preseason and is still unproven in the nfl. We have had a few of those.. no? can't you see the dire situation mounting with all these injuries? Deebo is still an it candidate, Bosa is out again, I think we have seen this movie before. Maybe Monday night will open some eyes in here.

The 49er Dr Pepper fan club can be a bit much.
can't handle the 49ers success i see

You can't see what is tight in front of you. We have a chance to win it all this year and to sit back and not add will lead to another year of the chiefs dancing on our graves. That doesn't sit well with me. I want to beat them in the regular season and in the post season. You ok with sitting back and counting on a crew that continues to dwindle week after week? You want to put your eggs in the stribbling basket even though he has played how many games? Dr Pepper fan club a.. real cute dude. If we don't add we will be wasting a hell of an opportunity to get the chiefs monkey off our back. But sure, let's just stick to what we have in the building and call it good. S**t we have an unproven rookie coming back week 12.. maybe.. to save the day.
in what part of this post that has this "I think we have seen this movie before. Maybe Monday night will open some eyes in here." above does it say we need to add anything or anything saying i would oppose any additions ?
The part where our number 1 goes into the locker room with a bad Achilles. That part.

Has Vita Vea even been good this year? He has zero TFL and zero sacks…

🤦🏽‍♂

You know he's started late right. They hard balled him when he's been nothing but a trooper for that org. He's on a team going nowhere needing an immediate rebuild.

Not sure if you've ever been in a situation where you're working a dead-end job and on top of that management neglected your value. How would it feel to going from that to a place where you can contribute and achieve the ultimate goal as your career winds down?! Seriously bro

OR he's simply not playing well. He's never been a monster pass rusher and if the reason you want him is because he stopped the run in the past. Go get someone cheaper to fill that spot. His buddy Robinson has been better and will cost a 10th of the price.

imo people are looking at the name and not much else with Via
OR it could be that you have a wrong take again.

He doesn't need to be an interior pass rusher. That's never been his game! He clogs the middle and commands a double team still with push up the middle.

By your reasoning CMc, M. Evans, Kittle, T. Williams, Bosa, Warner etc have all lost a step but here we are lol.

This guy is the anchor that's missing. He can be this team's version of Haloti Ngata. Like the man in the middle of one of the best defenses ever!

I disagree with your crystal ball.

Everyone has a price. A sensible price. Tampa is going nowhere fast and needs to change direction because they need players and a rebuild. $19.6 dead cap is anything but crippling for only 2027 for any team.

The 49ers window is now and they need that type of player!

What even is that type of player lol? He's not rushing the passer consistently anymore. So what he's a run down big body guy at this point (who you still have to pay next yr). You do not have to burn good picks to get one of those.

SF isn't gonna take money on next yr for older players…only way that's happening is if it's a young player who is gonna be here long-term.
Again if you're a we'll get 'em next year type of guy. Rock on!

They're the oldest team this year. So what part of how much longer is the window open for these vets and this team is that you don't get?!
