I just rewatched it a bit more, that looks like an 80 yard TD run.
Highlights are TFLs, not TF Gains

We need guys to run stuff or get in the backfield. We don't need guys who get pushed around and make the tackle after the first down

Agree 💯%, and I hope John Lynch's contract has been renewed. He's done an excellent job since Adam Peters left, in my opinion.

Agree that John's done a great job so far. I'd also like to thank Kyle's father, Mike Shanahan - for being a great advisor and sounding board for both John and Kyle. P.s. I think Mike Shanahan is a great 49ers QB scout though his involvement with the QB Collective High School QB camps nationwide.

Imagine criticizing a 330 pound DT for chasing down a QB 20 yards downfield and making the tackle.

It was one of the defensive plays of the year and you criticize him. You can't make this crap up.

Whatever dude. I'm not going to engage with a dude who thinks Buckner isn't stout vs the run. That says all you need to know about your knowledge.

That said, I'm sure if he was on this team he would be your favorite player

Buckner doesn't weigh 330 lbs. He plays at about 295. Still great to see a player that bug chase a guy down like that.

i would really like for him to come back. but even if he doesnt, bringing another star DL would be nice

Trading him wasn't the problem. If Kinlaw had become the player they expected it woukd hav ebeen fine. In retrosect it looks bad but Buckner was too expensive to keep along with Armstead. I would have preferred they had traded Armstead but maybe Buckner was more tradeable.

The clip is showing one of many times a player who chases players downfield instead of stopping them at the LOS and somehow is glazed for it.

Dee Winters did the same last year, but isn't praised

I don't think it's worth bringing in a guy who's not really going to do more than what we already have
