Honestly I'm not worried who they bring in at WR for trade. I know whoever it is, he'll make a difference. What I am concerned about is how much effort and stock they're putting in to make the pass rush great and even scarier than what it is. I'm really hoping they surprise us fans and make that splash for a pass rusher or dominant DT.
That is all.

and no he wasn't getting separation. 7 of Purdy's 10 INTs in 9 games were thrown to JJ
the very least if JJ comes back is if he's released and I would probably convert him to TE2 so he can block and beat LBs in coverage
Well this is a bit misleading in the fact of who Brock was throwing the ball to and when…JJ was the default WR1 for this team last yr.
He's never been some crazy separator, no one is asking him to be. No different than someone like Boldin throughout his career.
Also no one is asking him to be a WR1 in this situation….just been who you've been the past couple years. Dependable on those 3rd downs, run the routes how they're suppose to be run, be a plus WR in the RZ and block your ass off.
and don't be dumb with the turn him into a TE thing. He would be a great addition to the WR room right now, he would be cheap and can come in and contribute right away.
1. Evans 2. Stribling 3. Robinson 4. Deebo 5. Jennings 6. Cooks/Kirk/Watkins/Cowing
Works for me. I actually prefer the known of Jennings, particularly in his role prior to last year verses having multiple unknowns. Give Minnesota a 6th for their 7th and Jennings or a 7th straight up.

James will never see the field here. Might as well get something for him.
Absolutely not. Still need a RB3. No idea what will happen.

Well after that post it seems much more likely. Just gotta agree on the pick or whatever. Jennings would be plug n play if it all follows suit. Much rather see Jennings get playing time than Cowing that's for sure.
Got 49AllTheTime complaining about Brock tossing picks to JJ, meanwhile crowing did exactly that last weekbro can't even run the right routes after being here for like 3 yrs.
I saw a stat of production for WRs before and after they're traded mid season…overall it's bad. IMO if they can get a guy that we know can produce here and knows everything, that's a plus. I'm not expecting Garrett Wilson or Scary Terry so this is the next best thing.
Get Mack and we're cooking
Emmanuel Sanders did pretty good here. I wouldn't think any trade at WR for this team is going to be some minor move with how Shanahan is about receivers. My guess is if they make one, said receiver will buck the trend.

Why would Minnesota take an IR guy?

Ah. So he could get activated. I doubt he does. Not enough time in camp to develop any real rapport and I doubt he gets carries before Jordan James. With that said, does the team get an extra year of contractual control?
Nvm- just looked it up. Still holding out hope he can be the next Mostert lol.

All moves should be depending on season Enders
So far we have 3 big ones, pearsall collins tonges
Dependingn on which positions and quality get injured for the season next, I would make a bold move.

I'm torn on getting Jennings back.
On one hand we know dude is a dawg! He's got a good connection with Brock, blocks his butt off out there and drives the opposing team crazy. He knows the system and would be a pretty much plug and play contributor that Brock can trust.
On the other hand giving up picks for a temporary fix for a guy who may not be a top 4 WR when everyone who can come back is back isn't ideal.
Also while Brock has a great connection with him we've had a lot of picks thrown JJ's way because it's usually contested stuff but he doesn't have the Mike Evans size/separation ability.
I'm just hoping we manage to make it through the game Monday night without any more injuries and head to Atlanta 6-0 with Robinson and maybe Kirk joining the squad. Find a way to shut down Bijan and get another road win and go into the bye 7-0 and hope we get more guys coming back.
If we're targeting anyone via trade I'd still push more for another edge rusher.

JJ is not going to be the guy to help us in the postseason. We've used up all our trick plays already

Sanders did fine for sure, he actually produced less in SF vs DEN (just a little bit).
It's not as easy for a WR to just get plopped into a new scheme with a new QB and produce…especially here.
I mean we'd all love someone like Wilson or London for the long-term play. Also I'm sure they would make some plays this yr. IMO it would be malpractice to give up a 1st for a WR given what they've invested and who's gonna be coming back (plus taking on that cash).
you can trade for a pass rusher who's transition is a lot easier mid season. Go get a cheap JJ that can just start where he left off. Depth and rotation at DL/WR

I say we gotta trade for d-line and id go as far to trade Mac and our first to get a force on the d-line like tj watt or vita vea, that should be our statement trade , also trade for middle of the road wr for depth, something cheap like Jennings for a 6 or 7 or jeady for a 4
bro can't even run the right routes after being here for like 3 yrs.
