What's the most you'd give up for MH Jr.?
They supposedly want a 2027 2nd round pick and there's no way I'd give that up.

Khalil Mack potential trade to the Bears is something "multiple league sources told me makes the most sense if both teams continue on their respective trajectories."

One GM and one assistant GM on different teams slotted Mack's value as a 5th-round pick, but the Chargers… pic.twitter.com/KUHBiwnHbe

The draft in 2027 is supposedly deep in edge rushers, and its supposedly has several generational offensive tackles too. I defer to the draft nerds on the draft, but its something to consider in whether to keep Mac for this year *only* or to trade him for a possible elite edge rusher in the draft or additonal draft capital to bolster an aging offensive personnel. I'd like next years draft to be one to keep multiple Superbowl windows open in the future while Brock is at his peak.

When you have an elite QB, your window is always open. We need the draft capital to keep restocking the roster as it ages. The last two drafts are looking pretty good so far. Whatever moves we make, I don't expect it to be massive. Expect a trade for a guy like Mack, or a run stuffing dlineman that is under the radar. I doubt we'll trade for an expensive star.

This. Joe won 4 with completely different teams, Brady also. But other key pieces like TW, Bosa, Kittle and Juice will ALL need to be addressed very soon to keep a legitimate window open. Purdy has proven he can do it with just about any WR.

I agree. With Brock and Kyle, window is always open. some fans always want something new and shiny, but good teams build depth through the draft, and supplement the roster with FA signings and smart trades.
If the right move is there, the 49ers will make a trade. They're not going to just throw away draft picks, thankfully, they are smarter than that

Exactly. We have some good young promising players on this team plus a young very good QB. I can't believe some fans actually want to blow it all up if we don't win the SB this year. SMH.

Just trade for Jeffrey Simmons and call it a day. Dude would immediately improve a very good defense, and if Bosa and Williams stay healthy, the defense would keep us in every game so long as the offense continues to hum.
