2nd rounder would be highest I'd go.

I don't even think I'd do a 2nd. We had a top 5 offense last year with Spencer Burford playing LG and Dominic Puni playing hurt.

Use the draft capital on a pass rusher or safety.

Brother I feel the exact same way!!!! I remember saying this something similar in another thread. But the fact of the matter is John Lynch is just not aggressive enough to make Myles Garrett type trades.

He traded for CMC… I have a hunch if Niners are doing well & in the hunt to win the west, & Raiders fall on their face, we will be in on the trade talks for Crosby. No point in trading for him now, especially with the offseason reports about his knee. Let him show he is fully recovered & healthy before we make the move.

They usually f**k up the draft anyways. Regardless, they will never put that kind of resource into a LG or anyone on the OL.

I don't think Lynch has ever used their 1st round picks for proven players iirc....

2017 - Solly, Rueben
2018 - Mcglinchey
2019 - Bosa
2020 - Kinlaw, Aiyuk
2021 - Lance
2024 - Ricky
2025 - Williams

Only 2 from these are roster worthy players. Mike and Nick, Mike isn't on the team and Nick is coming off his 3rd ACL injury.

I for one wouldn't mind trading our 1st away for a proven great player. With that being said I could be wrong about the information above, since im just going off what I remember lol...

DE- Nick Bosa / Khalid Kareem
DT- Osa Odiahizuwa / Gracen Halton
DT- CJ West / Alfred Collins / James Thomason
DE- Keion White / Romello Height

It's absolutely insane that Lynch failed this badly to upgrade the edge position after a year when we had 20 sacks. Adding Osa is huge but only using a 3rd on and edge is insane. I don't expect anything from Mykel to at least week 8 and if Bosa misses time we will have a pathetic pass rush again.

Do these guys even know what they are doing? Seriously.
