I mean people just need to think logically. How could we have possibly had the easiest strength of schedule when we made the playoffs but finished 3rd in our division? Lol

They aren't able to do that when they are so emotionally tied to their dislike for Kyle or John or both.

a lot of fans aren't looking factual information - they're looking for information that will reinforce how they're feeling emotionally.

Glad people on this forum and media are calling for him to be fired. Absolutely atrocious in the first three rounds for almost 10 years with the team. To be fair Shanahan deserves A LOT of the blame (Trey Lance was his idea). Poach someone from Eagles front office maybe assistant GM and give him full control. Tell Kyle he can't make picks and GM can overrule him with all personnel decisions including contract extensions (avoid another Aiyuk situation).

This.

the "strength of schedule" was an influencer narrative.

It wasn't real. And it wasn't an "easy" schedule.
We also don't have an owner who takes accountability. He's more buddy buddy with the GM and Coach.

It's absolute insanity that people ignore it. And let's say even IF we had an easy schedule, we were playing with a practice squad group in many regards. Last year was one of the greatest coaching performances you will see in your lives.

What owner takes accountability? Kraft? Giants owner in Epstein files?

If you want rich nfl owners to take accountability you will be waiting a long time.
What does an owner taking accountability even mean in this case? Him firing a GM and Coach every 2 years because the fans are all butthurt about x,y or z? No one should actually want that. Or if they do, they'll just turn right around and b***h about how stupid the owner was to do it like with Harbaugh in after the 2014 season.

I'm not talking about firing Shanahan. I'm talking much more about the GM/personnel side.

At some point, when you've had 4–5 years of questionable drafts and keep missing on premium picks, ownership should be asking why the process isn't improving. That's where the accountability comes in.

Shanahan can still be the right coach while ownership takes a harder look at Lynch, the scouting department, and whoever has the biggest voice in personnel decisions. Those are two completely separate conversations.

And accountability doesn't necessarily mean firing Lynch tomorrow either. It means Jed shouldn't just be "buddy buddy" with everyone and accept the same draft results year after year without demanding changes.

Neglecting the OL for years will cost lynch.

I think he is telling people to think

I have a feeling that he's the type that "does his own research"
