What do we spend versus the rest of the league?

If you have the data, it would make interesting viewing.

He's just pulling this out of his ass. No hard data to be found.

The substation folks have become the new flatearthers or moon landing deniers.

Trying out all these cheap O-lineman and you don't know if they can stay healthy. Why not bring in a veteran who has managed to stay healthy almost his entire career in Kevin Zeitler and be done with it.

It was a joke from who ever posted that and I was just going with it.

you should have received an email a few months ago about which gift you wanted from what we had to choose from.

That i did a while back sometimes I'm bad at receiving sarcasm on the internet lol

Good suggestion.

Spotrac estimates his market value at $9,2 million. That is a lot for a 36+ year old offensive lineman. However, he played 909 snaps last year and was ranked in the top 15 of all guards last year.

My guess is that the staff will give Colby and Jones more time to show what they can do. Writers have said Colby has been much improved from last year. If that trend continues, and it looks like he can do the job, it will be hard to justify spending that kind of money on a guy that may not have all the much left. After all, there must be a reason all other teams have passed on him to this point.

I believe if you bring in Zeitler, you not only solidify the left side of your O-line. But you get another great mentor for Colby and the other young guys. It's a win-win situation if you ask me.

I don't disagree with that hope - that Zeitler can still be the starter. The unknown is whether or not he is worth being just a mentor if cannot win the starting job. ???
