a BIG NO on A-Weak Arm-Hurt... we've seen that show before.. the biggest play he's ever made in his career was in fact against us when he stripped that ball from our QB...

We shoudn't add SOFT players on our D!!

GO NINERSSSSSS !!!!

What is soft about him? I know you've always hated him and always say this…you never show examples of him being "soft" imo he's a really damn good defensive lineman that any team should want on their roster (for the right price).

I never HATED the dude... I just thought that we took him too high... and to make things worst, we traded BUCKO The Superstar instead of this dude..

Dude played last year with a busted up and he calls him soft. Some guy behind a keyboard calling a 10+ year NFL vet soft. What a joke.

continue cooking your 10 hour pollo...

all the ones pushing for our team to sign Armstead and Wagner obviously just wants us to have AGING players who can be exploited when they are in the game.. next DT everyone will want us to sign will be Calais.

You've called him soft for the past 10 yrs. We all know Buck is the better DT, he also cost more and landed them a top 13 pick via trade (hated moving him).

AA is a damn good football player and the fact he's been starting in the league for as long as he has backs it up.

Yeah, he says he never hated him, yet calls him soft, makes zero sense to me, he was never soft, I'd have no issue with bringing AA back.

Which they unfortunately used on Javon Kinlaw. I'm never one to say that the team should have drafted one guy over another, but Tristan Wirfs was clearly the choice to be made there. Oh, well.
It's adorable that people think we would have won the Super Bowl had we kept Buckner

Idk man… put him on the 2021-23 teams and maybe it goes differently you never know.
Johnny sure has chilled out from his days when he traded up in the first round to get Reuben Foster, JL is much more measured and patient with his moves now.
Someone eneeds to put togerther a team mad up of good players that were passed over by NFL teams. Not just the Niners but all the teams. Probably would be good enough to contend for the SB.

They also don't know if these players want to play in SF. Would Wagner be a stsarter of backup?

He wouldn't start over Warner. No reason for him to start over Dre so at best he would be the Sam…where teams would 100% abuse him in coverage at his old age.

id love to have a player like that as depth but it's not realistic that a guy of his caliber would sign with a key rival of his for his whole career pretty much to be a depth piece for cheap.

Not to mention he's not playing special teams so he'd be pushing a young cheap player off the squad with his presence.

Now if he wants to coach…get his ass in here pronto!

Is this "he can't cover" true? Or just speculation because of his age? Because he's known to be a good cover linebacker. I think the narrative being pushed is we could use him on base downs and insurance given Greenlaws injury history. I'd take Wagner but I do agree it makes little to no sense for both parties
