The 49ers have made 43 non-1st-round draft picks since 2022.

The only hit is Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy
Rd 2, Pick 61 — DE Drake Jackson
Rd 3, Pick 93 — RB Tyrion Davis-Price
Rd 3, Pick 105 — WR Danny Gray
Rd 4, Pick 134 — OL Spencer Burford
Rd 5, Pick 172 — CB Samuel Womack
Rd…
Agree. Polymarket is a bunch if degenerate dipshits.
OK, let's just say they are spot on 100% correct with that "data", we are still a very successful football program from a win-loss standpoint. If you can communicate back to them, ask them what they attribute our success to since it isn't the draft.
In other words, if you can find the negatives you can find the positives.
Yes and if we were better drafters we'd likely have at least 2 rings

The Trey Lance draft was the one that sticks in my craw. 3 first round draft picks down the drain.

I still feel like we are going to make 1-2 more trades, after June 1. I think we will get another pass rusher and/or safety. Even trading for a TE would be nice, like Kyle Pitts

Yeah, same. I didn't understand it at the time and now it's one of the worst decisions in nfl history. lol crazy no one got fired, thank god for Brock Purdy.
2023 was a bad draft but I partially blame that on how late of a pick we had. If you look back at it, going on year 3 now, all the top players from that draft (from what I could see) were taken before our first pick. Not a single pro bowler came after. Obviously that isn't the only identifier of a quality player - I just didn't see much when I glanced over it, may of missed people.
the Lance trade/selection and 2023 draft were a disaster

Seems they are only interested at their price.
And honestly I get it, he refuses to take less than what he thinks he's worth, look at Jauan, he thought he was a $20M APY guy, clearly he isn't, he was offered $15M APY by us last year and he chose not to take it, he might kick himself for not taking it now.

49ers aren't gonna sign Joey Bosa and I'm not sure why he hasn't signed with anyone yet?
It's as obvious as with Jauan, he's overpriced himself, all 32 teams don't view either as being worth what they want.

People often don't know what they are talking about when they say "consensus"
That said the "consensus" has a slightly higher grade than the rogue drafting teams...but not a glaring difference.

What's the "consensus" based off oft? Is it just a bunch of media people who vote and put it together? Is it just all their mock drafts analyzed and takes the averages?
I honestly don't know. Lol
edit: I looked it up - "A consensus draft board is comprised by aggregating, averaging, and smoothing hundreds of individual draft rankings, mock drafts, and expert big boards to create a single, stabilized list of player rankings. It functions by collecting data from 50 to over 400 sources—including media outlets, scouting services, and analysts—to identify where players are likely to be drafted"

Agree, if they didn't trade up, and had they stayed at their original pick position - more than likely Mac Jones would have been the QB pick. As you said there were some good players that could have been drafted in 2023 they would have had a better shot at if we did have that first round pick.
Brock Purdy really saved their jobs. I think they were one player away from being fired and that was Brock Purdy.

They would have been fine with Sam Darnold. Guy has had two productive, winning, seasons with two different teams. No reason to assume he wouldn't have succeeded here in the same system, especially with the type of weaponry around him he would have had in 2023.
For some reason people seem to think the 49ers were just going to ride it out with Lance had Purdy not emerged in spite of the overwhelming evidence against the idea.

When Lynch gets bounced, can they bring in a new GM from the Ravens organization?
#Ravens GM Eric DeCosta on the positional value of taking a guard early in the draft:
