Stribling can block and run. Kirk, Robinson are on 1 year deals. Pearsall can't stay on the field. This guy could be the 3rd/4th guy this year.

Height supplants Huff's speed rush.

Black will stick his nose in and isn't afraid to get dirty in pass protection and runs hard. James might not be there yet and as much as I like Guerrendo he doesn't block. And let's face it McCaffrey is on the decline.

Halton big with a high motor.

Willis good pass blocker.

Prysock tall Corner.

Dugger high motor. As good as Bethune has been. He might end up being better.

Cruz Jr. much needed help on the Oline.
Is McCaffrey on the decline or is it more about the interior OL being 💩

Not saying you don't have a point but I see him getting blasted and lacking explosion.

I actually don't think our guys would do well with multiple first round picks, my wish with our HC & GM is that they keep cap space so that they can build their team with guys that are proven from other teams (CMC/TW/Juice).

We are at our best when the public isn't caught up in the value of the pick: 5th, 6th, 7th round (Purdy/Kittle/Green Law/Lenoir/DJ Jones).

Very few of our top 5 picks pan out (S. Thomas/T. Lance vs Bosa), and even our late first and second rounders struggle with the exception of B.A & Deebo.

John & Kyle have a vision, I get pissed because I don't understand their vision. However, these guys very rarely move backwards. If & when we win the super bowl I am going to be mad at myself for wasting so much energy on my disagreements with a vision that I never understood.

I'll say this - if this years draft has anywhere near the impact of last years, we are in good shape. I really like what they've done with DL.

offense is old but much better skill group than last year. O line still concerns me but hopefully they're healthy this year (specifically Puni).

if our defense can stay healthy - we can beat anyone.
you know who's a stud blocked? Black. lol dude will probably get playing time cause he can block so well.

I think it was more injuries to the WR and Aiyuk's absence that makes it look like McCaffrey declined. He'll be about 30 this year, I think he can play a couple more years if Kyle takes care of him better than he did in 2025. When the defense can load up on the run because you don't have WR threats, that's what will happen to your RB. Injuries to the OLine didn't help (Puni, Colby etc...) I hope the beefed up strength and conditioning team makes a difference in injuries this year.

The offensive line just got much faster and more athletic with the Carver Willis and the Enrique Iglesias pick. I hope that OLine speed - when these guys step into the starter position - turbocharges that Run game. As for this season, a healthier OLine and OLine depth should help preserve Purdy's body and help the run game. I'm looking forward to Conner Colby's continued development for the left guard position. Maybe Drake Nugent or Nick Zakelj can start challenging Brendel too, hopefully.

If this draft is anything like the 2025 draft, I agree, we're in good shape to make it into the playoffs.

He can play more than that as a slot wr.
It showed that the defensive side of the ball in the draft is influenced by Morris being the D Coordinator. Getting him what he may need. It will be different than what it was under Saleh and Ryans.
I mentioned that if the niners drafted a wr early, unlike in the past, he is going to have to know how to block. He is like JJ although shorter, but faster.

Yeah, they got some good guys to develop. Although, like the USC T we drafted a few years ago - we may lose them. We can't keep all the O line we signed and drafted. so something will have to give. The team signed decent O line depth this year, so these young guys will have a hard time making the final 53. So hopefully we don't lose them.

I would like to see Toth take over center. He looked good when he was doing it for the Eagles. I think he could easily be an upgrade.

He's like JJ but Stribling is way faster, way more explosive. Stribling has break away speed. both tough SOBs that can block.

still crazy that JJ isn't signed but this is a good replacement. apparently this kid has a great head on his shoulders.
The only I wonder about this draft, is the safety position. Which make me think, either we sign a free agent (are there any really worth it though), Or someone is converting?

Camp is going to be intriguing to see what Morris has in mind.

I agree, read his interview. Like his attitude. Hawaii boy!

The way I see the draft, we drafted a bunch of highly athletic players with solid bases to which coaches can mold them into what they want. I don't expect anything from this class this year. Stribling seems like a pick to eventually take over Evans and will be limited on opportunities until Kirk and Robinson walk next year. Black can be a three-down back in this offense. A lot of people got hung up on his lack of receiving out of the backfield. Indiana simply didn't ask him to do that but that doesn't mean he can't. He's probably the one guy that gets opportunities this year given our RBs are regularly hurt.

There isn't much to sign.

Height will play a lot on 3rd down even if they sign Joey.
