Not sure I want him making the decisions. He misses too many picks, trades them away and does desperation hail Mary stuff like Lance. This team is an absolute mess. Not anywhere near as good as 4 - 2. We won a bunch of last second games on defense and special teams. Now with Warner and Bosa both down expect a lot of middle and late season losses. Losing streak starts right now. We could have a mid 1st round pick. Therefore I would not trade it away for a 1/2 year rental. But not sure I want this guy picking and certainly not Shany even more so.

My god stfu for once

He's partially responsible for this mess and deserves criticism. He doesn't get a pass.

What mess? You are such a whiner

It is super easy to sit here and second guess, post mortem ...but the whole plan was pay BA, pay Trent, pay Brock, pay Kittle, pay CMC, pay Bosa and pay Fred.

Minus Fred, none of these dudes are what you could call ironmen.

Sadly it feels like only a matter of time before CMC goes down as well.

I love Lynch and Shanny....but I really hope they are considering future plans. They keep plugging people in at WR/TE/RB hell even QB with some level of results, you cant say the same for every other position.

It shocks me that here we are 30-40 years later and Bill Walsh still looks like a genius. He never wanted resources tied up in dudes over 30. Didn't matter if that was Joe, or Ronnie or Craig....he didn't just talk the talk he walked the walk. That plus the you cant teach talent on defense take is so 2025. Shanny is proving yet again you can take casts offs on offense (just like his Dad) and move the ball.... you can't teach athleticism on defense.

Man I hope 2025 off season is the year they get serious on the o-line and the continue to stack the defense.
Who have they plugged in at WR or Te and gotten results?

Bourne has back to back games with 142 Yards recieving

yeah Borne is just under like 300 yards over the last two games...

Tonges on the other hand....

Top 10 TEs — receiving yards (Weeks 3–6)

1. Tyler Warren (IND)215 yds, 2 TD
2. Trey McBride (ARI)208 yds, 2 TD
3. Jake Ferguson (DAL)204 yds, 4 TD
4. Hunter Henry (NE)202 yds, 3 TD
5. Dalton Kincaid (BUF)202 yds, 2 TD
6. Dallas Goedert (PHI)199 yds, 5 TD
7. AJ Barner (SEA)179 yds, 3 TD
8. Jake Tonges (SF)178 yds, 2 TD
9. Mark Andrews (BAL)167 yds, 2 TD
10. Sam LaPorta (DET)164 yds, 1 TD

I think it is fair to cherry pick time since it took circumstance and time for Tonges to raise up the depth chart....but even if you dont agree...Tonges is still 13th in the league going into this game and most these dudes on this list have not split time like Tonges.

We should be sellers rather than buyers. We have a bunch of old, injured players who are over paid. Missed on draft picks for years. Now it's truly rebuild time. We hit the last 2 years. But it could take 3 more solid drafts to fix this. Plus free agency. This team has holes all over and injuries of aging players. It's just not a good situation right now.

Wasn't there talk we were going to be buyers for an elite pass rusher at the deadline? Fred Warner injury changes all of that. Probably for the better.
This team definitely needs to be sellers. People like CMC, JJ etc need to be dealt for picks. They need all the picks they can get.
Oops

I wouldn't be mad at all if they went OL and Safety with every pick next year lol. They can't whiff on everyone..

Oh I think they are capable. But there is something to be said for that strategy. Some picks will likely hit.

The webzone's weather vane has spoken. Wonder which direction it will point next week.

And according to the both of you, all we have is a bunch of old, injured players who are over paid. What exactly are the Niners supposed to trade away? Who would want any of those players? Riddle us that………

All in!! No Time to waste
Aiyuk, Kittle, Pearsall and Purdy will be back. Maybe just maybe, the offense will carry this team to a SB this year.

You said keep plugging in as if they've been doing that over the course of years.

A three game stretch is hardly an indicator.

I agree. My old man doesn't have much time left. Trade for Hendrickson and bring back Dre Greenlaw.
