Head Coach Candidate: Tom Cable (SEA OL)

Tom Cable wold be a big mistake. He finished 3rd in the AFC West the three years he was with the Raiders and he cares to much baggage.
My choice would be as follows now that McDaniels opted out of running for HC.
1. Kyle Shanahan
2. Mike Smith "he helped rebuild the Falcons and is respected around the league it will help when getting cordinators"
3. Mike Shanahan
4. Frank Reich
5. Mike Nolan
6. Mike Holgram
7. Jeff Garcia
8 - 66. Anyone but Tom Cable
My 67. Tom Cable

Chip Kelly > Tom Cable

Hopefully the Cable interview was just an IOU to the Bill Parcel recommendation. If Jed is taking Parcels recommendation, he might feel obligated to follow through.

Who is Bill Parcels that he has taken over? What history does he have with the 49ers other than f**king up our three-peat? He is worshipped by Trent Baalke.

Lott, Montana, Young, Jones, etc, etc,...Jed doesn;t want to talk to these people because he wants to do this all on his own with Paraaaaaag? He has a big ego like Trent Baalke. (Actually, alot of Baalke has rubbed off on Jed).

I think it's pretty clear that a Tom Cable hire would totally alienate the fan base, prompt a selloff by season ticket holders, and put Jed directly on the hot seat with questions about hiring a man with a history of violence towards women. Jed may be a fool, but even he has to understand this. I've got to believe that the Cable candidacy is a fact finding mission and a bone they're throwing to Fitterer and Kirchner.

But, then again, you can never underestimate stupid, and you can never go wrong betting against the Yorks...

worst mistake of his life would be to hire cable. that might be the straw that breaks the camels back for a lot of fans barely holding on to this trainwreck

Damn, the more I think about the possible Coaching candidates, the more I think of just bringin in REX RYAN.. at least he'll bring in some swagger up in here while building a team..

Not my first choice and I am praying for Kyle Shanahan but Cable would not be the worst choice and if he would bring in Gus Bradley as a DC and Norv Turner as OC, that's not bad...

So much for wanting to win with class....Jed is a complete joke...
