When it ended. Now there is a sense of optimism, however brief it may be, with the prospect of a new regime and the #2 draft slot. I say possibly brief optimism because there is still a chance that the ownership screws this process up.

Seriously, I went to the first game against the Rams and was pretty happy to go home with a W and some optimism. When Bowman got hurt, I instantly knew that the rest of the season was going to be unwatchable. Only reason why I watched the games was because I had Hyde on my fantasy team for the majority of the year. Ive been rooting religiously for this team for about 23 years through the thick and thin, since i was 6, and Ive never been disappointed in ownership as I am after this season. I didn't have that big of an issue with the firing of Harbaugh, great coach and football mind but it really seemed like he was wearing out his welcome in the bay area and with the NFL. What I had an issue with was that they didn't replace him with someone who knew what the hell they were doing, and obviously I was right. Probably the second worst team I have ever seen fielded by the franchise and by far the biggest front office incompetency sh!t show I have ever seen, late 2000's senile Al Davis type of stuff. I really hope things get better and the Yorks can make some positive hires, but I don't really have a lot of faith in that happening.

There was no outstanding "moment" for me this season but there were a couple of things that I liked seeing. I liked seeing that the team stayed scrappy. The defense started looking like an actual defense in the last several games. The offensive line was much better than last year. Buckner is beginning to look like the kind of player we hoped he would be.

Right now

When we beat the rams cause 49ers > Rams > Seahawks, it makes perfect sense.

It could be today at 10:00 am pacific. Jed won't really answer any questions, but at least watching him squirm in his seat while beat writers ask him questions about "accountability" and "winning with class" could be fun.
