I understand there are injuries on every team but this just seems excessive at this point...i know 1-15 teams will have players not wanting to be on the feild but this is a joke lol

So much was made of Kelly's Teams in Philly being the leagues healthiest over a 3 year span. Obviously he didn't bring any of that here lol.
Nothing is going right for this team. They are getting stomped every week, im not surprised guys are dropping left and right.

Agree with SoFa, but at least it would be worthwhile sitting down and either chip or GM (ok, HC and or GM) going over the training staff and doing a long overdue review. That can't hurt anything, and could or might , just make a difference. Getting snakebit is one thing, but getting snakebit one yr after another is not. Some of that could be eiiminated from the gitgo by GM not drafting any more ACL nor injured players. Just draft healthy good players. No more iffy guys healthwise. That alone would have saved us half a dozen injuries right there.

If it was JUST this year, we could call it a fluke...but 21 players on I.R. in 2014, followed by 17 last year and we're up to 14 right now and we can expect at least 3 more after this game...THAT is the biggest issue with our roster. Period. Every single one is made of glass and can't get on the field for any extended period, let alone STAY on the field. #Cursed

Just out of curiosity , NC, do you know many , or what percent , of those came here with pre-existing injuries, ACL being the most common?
Because if our GM just quit drafting guys with injuries aforehand, we would be way less injured right now...at least I think so, anyway.

The 49ers have 15 players on IR, there are 11 other teams who have as many or more players on IR. It is bad but not out of the ordinary.
Bad teams put more players on IR because these players have nothing to play for so there is no reason to risk injuring them further.
