Armstrong's absence doesn't get much notice but he looked like he was going to be a very solid player in the middle as well. Speed, intelligence, passion. Miss him as well.

The Jets seemed to have packed it in, they're nosediving at a high rate of speed. The Niners however are way past the point of nosediving, they're underground, buried. The game boils down to which team has the slightest bit of pride left. The fact that the Jets played Monday night and then have to travel to the West Coast for Sunday's game means they must be flat for the game, right? Kap bought a condo in NYC, does he want to play for the Jets? Will any team sign him? Owner Woody Johnson of the Jets may be in line for a cabinet post. Signing Kap may be the surest way of not getting any position.
