Would you trade Hyde this offseason?

That is the point, WE are better off in the Power I formation in the first place. This current Chip Kelly college zone-read BS running game sucks, in fact schematically as a whole he sucks.

While I get the point about Hyde not being tough enough as a 3-down back, we should have signed multiple decent backs (not the crap we have now) to complement him in our run game. Just look around the league, most teams have at least a 2-back approach to their ground game. Look at the Falcons, they have Freeman and Coleman and the Cowboys have Elliott and Morris, etc. Just look at us, other than Hyde who is 100% legit, we have noone else.

I wouldn't trade Hyde. Get him some proper help and he will be healthier plus he will be much more eager to step up his game to compete with someone who can actually play RB as opposed to the crap we have now. Fire Baalke, draft a decent back and not some snail like Mike Davis who is absolutely useless.

Cannot stress enough that we were seeing what we have in our team to see whose gonna stay long term. Draughn is probs out, Harris could get another shot, can care less about Davis right now but we WILL draft or sign another RB this offseason. Baalke here or not.

No BUT I'd definitely look for a quality RB in draft or FA.

IMO, I don't feel he has a long career in front of him.

Injured way too often.

This offense needs speed at RB and WR. Hyde is an excellent player, but unless he changes his running style, he'll remain on the injury report. He's said he's not changing anything.

We defintely need to bring in a gio bernard type back to split carries with him, but no need to get rid of Hyde

Baalke has drafted 8 RB's and has yet to hit on ONE....

Do we know is James was a Harbaugh influenced pick?

Lattimore was a comp pick if im not mistaken that was a boom or bust risk type of pick.

Davis is TBD IMO cause of the struggles of the running game and playing from behind,lack of wideout/QB power to open things up. Still needs more maturing.

Harris hasn't been too bad and Hyde hasn't able to stay healthy but if he was he'd easily be a hit.

Let's see what happens in a year where you think you're gonna have chips influence to get him some weapons, a RB included.

We need good players, not more draft picks.

I don't like the idea of trading Hyde. Too, much untapped potential.

Yeah it's just simply not gonna happen... other team would try and steal him for a lower round pick and were just simply better off being the ones to cash in on a breakout season.

Davis would only look legit against our run defence. IMHO Davis lacks vision, and determiantion to hit the hole.
I would not trade Hyde, especially if Baalke remains the GM.

I don't see why a team would trade for him. Besides the injury bug, dances too much on the line or get exposed to critical hits on open field. Niners will be lucky if they get a 5th round pick at best.

For the upcoming offseason, we should burn our tires on LaGarrette Blount because Hyde is not healthy or consistent player also backups are bunch of journey men.

running backs are a dime a dozen. no one would trade for him.
