Our team is pretty bad, it's time to try and make some deals for some draft picks to see if we can get something good out of the season! To me Torrey smith has to go we are paying him like a top WR and no QB on our team can hit him more than once a game. With his contract I doubt we will be able to get anything more than a late 3rd or 4th round pick. Absolutely no reason to keep him, he will be old by the time we get good. We might be able to get something for Reid who is underperforming for the 3rd season in a row. McDonald might get a 6th rounder. Brooks and Bethea are salary cap cuts next season so they can go. With Kapernicks restructure we might get a comp pick for him. It's pretty upsetting just about every player our team said we're going to be great isn't doing anything! Any player not in our future plans that I missed?

I was hoping for improvement of some sort.

Me too, we did have a slight ppg improvement but i am hoping to see other areas too. The season is not even halfway over yet so we will see.

Anyways, Hope we get something good for Torrey

Unless it is a better WR I am not so sure.
It is a paper thin position that Kelly and Baalke have ignored.

If we trade both Staley (one of the best LT in the league and probably our best player) and T.Smith (our best WR) mid-season then it's clearly a money saving move. I don't see any other reason to move players when you're trying to rebuild. I guess winning isn't in the plans any time soon. This is a terrible turn of events.

So if we trade Torrey for Jordan Mathews would that improve our team? Or what about Kendricks or Alonso, ILB is just as big a weakness as wr that Baalke has ignored, on the off chance we get a really high pick for him.....all of those would improve our team either now or in the long run.

Agreed but it is really hard to see this team keep getting worse when you think it has hit rock bottom.
