First of all, the whole "Faithful" thing is some lame PR crap they came up with during our decade-long absence from good football.

However, if you're using the word faithful strictly in terms of our fans having faith in the team... all I can say is LOL. What have they shown you that would make you have any faith in their abilities? Is it the weekly embarrassment they receive on the football field? Is it the clear lack of talent? Or how about the poor execution on a weekly basis?

It's annoying when people say nonsense like this. You're gonna imply people aren't true fans because they see that the team sucks? And if they acknowledge this fact, they are whiners. Apparently we should all be delusional clowns that can't see the reality of the situation. After all, that's how you're considered a true fan, right?

Team gets no faith when the Ownership is sabotaging it deliberately or out of incompetence.

Frankly, at this point with the season shot, the Niners should be praying that the Browns win three games, and that the Bears and Panthers win at least two more each. Just in case a fluke occurs and the Niners win one they shouldn't.

That would position the Niners to get whatever players they want in the upcoming draft and/or to rape a desperate team as the Titans did to the Rams just a few months ago.

I realize everyone wants a new owner, GM, coaching staff, and 53 new players, but one thing at a time.

Here's a deal: Jed, buy my SBL back at face and I'll forfeit my remaining tickets for the season.

We have some young players that will be good in the future but are not going to bring much now. Trading good young talent for an older veteran is only leading to more frustration in the future.

Eat the rest of the season. We knew it was going to be bad. We just hoped it would not be this bad.

Good news is; we now seem a lock for one of the top 3 spots.

Hello fellow 9ers fans. I agree we should make some deals. First deal I would like to see is an Reid deal. He has not been performing well at all for the past couple of years. Move ward to free safety and start tart at strong safety. (Get rid of bethea as well) Even with all the mishaps Baalke has made I still think he isn't going anywhere. Chip really needs to go back to college. He should have never been hired. A lot of nfl executives, commentators, and other notable people are saying the same thing. HIS SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK. It is no secret it really is repetitive and predictable. I know our personnel is bad, but even with good players Chips's system is what it is. If we keep Chip, the same will happen again next year. Philly figured it out, we should do the same.

No one will trade anything significant for any players and if so the team will not be willing to deal, best bet is to keep playing aka losing get a top pick draft, draft a QB, cut the old useless over paid players and spend the great amount of money we have on a number 1 WR and a pass rusher opposite Lynch..

I understand all your saying but pin pointing Reid as the problem isn't accurate, yes he has played bad at times but so has the whole secondary bc of no pass rush, every week a different person in the secondary has got abused, and as for chip I want to see what happens when he actually gets to draft a QB of his choice and gets to groom him..no way he gets fired..

Torrey Smith is not playing as well as he should but he's certainly playing a lot better than what it seems. He got wide open in the end zone today but Kaep wasn't able to deliver the ball to him.

The Niners deserved to be bashed. They are the worst franchise in sports at this moment and a laughing stock. I have been watching the 49ers a long long time and this is the worst team i can remember. Maybe the OJ Niners teams were close but at least they were 3 years away from a Superbowl.

We have the worst owner in football, the worst GM in football, the worst QB situation in football, and right now the worst run defense in football. i feel no sympathy for anyone other than the fans that got suckered into paying for PSLs

Yeah, the origins were from the 70s. Regardless of how it came about, current regime is using it as PR to deal with losing. I thought it was a bad sign when they started painting Levi's with 'Faithful' signs before the season began. I bet Levi's, the clothing company, isn't too happy to be associated with losing either.
