Worst team 2004 niners or 2016 niners ?

Hard to discern between 2004, 2005, 2007, 2015, and 2016 teams for which is the worst. All blends together.

All i know is that after knowing what made you good (harbaugh) and actively dismissing him, these past two years are unforgivable.

If I could, I'd root for another team

Same (bolded). I think because it was such a long streak it made me say 2004 was worse. I can't tell. I'm not ready to root for another team though.

If Raiders are certain to stay, I may pickup a Carr jersey. I've been a 49er fan since 1980. The last 20 years have been extremely painful.

All the way with Tim Rattay!!!!

If Rattay had the line the 49ers have now, the 2004 team wins 5 games at least.

Rattay was at least fun to watch at times.

Rattay put up with NO T.O in 2004.

with no Vernon Davis or Frank Gore...or Crabtree.

When Jeff was a chekdown King in the late part of his 9er career...IT was damn refreshing to see Rattay audible at LOS, and throw bombs.

Just as far as most shocking to the system....1999 will always get my vote. It ended the dynasty and was 1-11 without Steve and quite possibly the worst pass defense I can Remember.
Maiocco said this team was worse than Tomsula's....now that's a statement.

2004 gets my vote as worse team. But the great news is there's still 11 more games!

Not sure it's great news. Your answer may change after 11 games

It won't get much better next year, or the year after that.

The nolan/sing years we were loaded with talent and always had a hard nosed defense and HOFs like Willis and Gore. We had things to hang our hats on. This team has little to no talent to build on.

It's pretty much the same team. They saw last year's pile of sh' team and thought 60 mil under the cap but no reasons to upgrade.

2004 was worse though. Look st the skilled positions. Rattay, Barlow, Wilson, Battle with Eric Johnson being the only half decent player.
Been a fan since 1992. I was at my first 9ers home game in my life (east coaster). This roster sucks dick. We have basically have expansion team talent.
