My opinion is if ur in 3rd down situation u have to make it to the first down marker that's the most important down u take pressure off the whole offense

You mean the offense of 4 different running plays almost all short routes that runs on first and second down almost 75% of the time then no. Overhyped junior high offense.

agree..
I thought chip was gonna bring all kinds of complex running schemes, fakes, quick hitting passes and deceptive formations that would keep a defense guessing. Instead, it's fkn Jimmy Ray all over again.

bro you can't do much if your QB can't even hit a basic swing pass to the RB or WR screen.

Chip Kelly should put in streater and martin and burb and smith that would give defense problems because height and size and speed matter being a nfl receiver

You think Chip doesn't want to call more complex plays, you know he can't do it cuz garbarge can't complete passes. The number one sign is when the team is down big and they are still calling running plays that means they are scared to let the QB throw the ball.

Exactly, what's he supposed to do?
Chip: "Blaine, you haven't been able to execute even the most basic of game plans so far and we're sending the defense out for far too much time. So what I plan to do is make the O more complicated and speed it up. Sound good?"

I for one do not like the offense or have faith in it so far. I wasn't impressed with the offense against the rams and even more so frustrated after the 2 past ass whoppings we took. I really believed that Gabbert would be better than Foles was in this offense. I could see that I was wrong. You have rookies playing better than this guy. Now i'm starting to ask myself, was it really Tomsula or is it our personnel. This offense looks identical to what i saw last season. I thought people said Chip was an offensive wizard. Boy, i must have been drunk to hear that.

His problem is that he is not able to move the defense or allow his receiver to try to get open. He is too robotic and that was my problem with Alex Smith. He doesn't trust his receivers either because he rarely throws it when they are even and when he does, his ball placement is horrible.
He doesn't trust his arm to throw past 5 yards...he'd rather check it down with a gorlifed handoff then actually be a QB.
All those short pass should setup a QB to take some shots down field ( I'm saying something more than 10+ yards) but defenses have seen tape of Blaine and know what to do now.
He trusts his arm, just doesn't trust his aim.

Can only call plays that your qb an run, he wasn't calling run run pass and short routes 75% of the time in philly.

The worst part about this offense, is the 3 'n outs... they can happen so fast, defense just gets gassed.
