Rand Getlin &rlm;@Rand_Getlin I'm told WR/KR Keshawn Martin has signed a 2-year deal with the #49ers. Averaged 11.2 yards per reception last year with the #Patriots. New #49ers WR/KR Keshawn Martin has broken a 70+ yard kickoff or punt return in three of his four seasons in the NFL (with a long of 87).

Seriously I know he's nothing special but after hearing about how good of a camp he had, how does he get cut and why hasn't he been brought back after all the injuries? At least he knows the system. I have a hard time believing Patton was better in any facet to begin with.

they had/still have a chance to get Justin Hunter 6'4 200 something

they brought in Aaron Dobson (former Patriot as well) 6'3 210

Cajuste seemed like a playmaker

Lol right? It amazes me for two guys that love big bodied players they keep going small at WR. It would be different if we had a accurate QB that could hit these quick slot WRs but we most certainly don't.

I heard two different NFL observers on the radio today, both noted that the single biggest problem is the lack of talent on the outside. Gabbert isn't great but he has little chance for anything on the outside with the current crew.

Simpson had a lot of talent but none of it was in his hands.

None of the good FAs were willing to even come and listen due to the lack of talent at the QB slot and the performance of last season's OL. (can't blame them)

Agree

Maybe w/our OLine looking a lot better we will be more attaractive to some top tier FAs.

Then again, Trent wants to build thru the draft and well - we know the story .....

Picking WR is definitely NOT his strength.
