Our defense laid an egg the second half. Can't really blame the heat, just the panthers were better in the trenches after the 2nd qtr. I am sure there are things the 49ers can fix. We never made carolina punt after halftime. Other than the sack and fumble, carolina scored everytime they got the ball.
Got to figure out how to better match up against some of their WRs and TEs. Maybe more zone.

Even if he plays and he ends up sucking it up, it will always be someone else's fault. Kelly, the OL, the WR's.....etc. Cognitive dissonance at its finest when it comes to honestly evaluating what is clear to the vast majority of people, that he's just not a very good QB. Outside of 2012 where he took the league by surprise, defenses rapidly caught up with him and exposed his weaknesses, weaknesses that have not gone away.
None of his fans have gone away either
They won't go away, until kap goes away. Thankfully that time is coming.
Wonder if he leaves, do they to?

We will win next week.. We played the best team in the nfc and we had a chance. But this team is young. These are the growing pains. Everyone needs to relax and enjoy the next few wins

Anyhow, Kaepernick fluffers will never stop, no matter what. Kaepernick is owned by good defenses. He cant pass at all vs good defenses more times than not.
90 friggin yards and 196 yards. That's not the sort of play that wins todays game. Only reason we beat the Panthers in the playoffs was because our defense held them to 10 points.
Kaepernick could not pass vs the Panthers at all.
So what about all the other playoff games where we scored around 30 points (and gave up just as many)?
Was that Kap's fault too?
I'm not saying that he's the answer here, but this revisionist history has got to stop.
Still can't figure out that KAP THEN is no where near the same QB as KAP NOW?

Is it safe to say this was the MOST POINTS we've given up in a game in almost 10 years?

For real! They act like he had NOTHING to do with those wins.

Let us look to his stats passing vs Seattle to see what will likely happen. Shall we?
Sherman agrees with this post
Ya, it will be an automatic loss. I almost want Chip to play Kap vs Seatlle so his cheer leading squad can go away but I would rather see a competitive game with Gabbert in. Even though Gabbert needs to improve he's still the best chance we have at winning some games this year.
Put Kap in at garbage time vs weak secondaries. Sure, get him injured so he can collect an easy 15 million in 2017.

They're kap fans, not niners fans.
They want blaine to fail. That says it all.

It's crazy to want kap play against seattle. It's a winnable game, why throw kap out there?
Blair, AA and Defo need to find a pass rush.

God damn we suck and the blame falls on everyone. Offense sucked. Can't run the ball. Fumbles. Hyde 3 yard a carry
(Gore come back!), inaccurate QB, TE that can't catch, BAD play calling! Defense can't stop the run, gave up +500 yards of total offense, long ass drives by the opponent, and hardly any QB pressure.
Overall it was a horrible game all around. Talent isn't there and coaching isn't there. This team is going to suffer big time against good team. We aren't going to be in top spots for a long time until we can address these issues. Damn

And some of us think the D looked good out there. They were AWFUL. Changes need to come...starting with the TD maker Bethea.

28 last week, 27 this week. Granted we should have put 30 with the amount of turnovers we got but 27 is enough to win most games.
Bethea is aging like a dog.

moral victory...
They were within 4 at half and within 7 halfway through the 4th quarter. One needs to compare it to Week 2 last year. It's not good, but it's an improvement.
