SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at CAROLINA PANTHERS - 2016 Week 2

Offense isn't great but still way better compared to last year. Defense missing a pass rusher. Harold looks like a bust. Gets swallow up every time. Tank doesn't have any moves. Brooks got slight pressure. First round pick next draft needs to be a pass rusher or a QB.

I'm sorry, did I make your Bat Signal go off?

I said it because its true. Instead of just overthrowing guys like Gabbert did, we'd have seen passes sailing out of bounds and taking out cheerleaders. Neither of these guys has consistent NFL QB caliber accuracy.

This was all because he's injured, not because he can't see the field.

And I'd be completely with you if I thought that would any sort of real difference. Kaepernick isn't any more accurate than Gabbert and I don't see him making those throws that Gabbert missed either. Similar issues between both QB's in terms of their accuracy, throwing high or low, struggling to get the ball to where the receiver can make a play on it.

I think against better defenses, the fans are going to have to ride it out and hope that the team chooses wisely in drafting a new quarterback.

Here we go......... So if Kaep plays and doesn't make the throws, and gets sacked so many times, and probably throws a couple INT's......probably won't be his fault but everyone elses?

McDonald dropped catch in 4th that coulda possibly went for a TD if not we'd be in instant FG range before the next play where Gabbert threw a TD. Newton squeeking out of sacks. Short week across country.

We're good enough to contend with the best of them and encouraged going up against Seattle.

The 4th qtr was a doozy and the last 5 minutes took a complete dive (on our part)... we competed tho.

Can't wait to battle cawkSuckers on their turf. Hoping Rams take care of business on a real physical level!

Thank God those Baltimore Ravens had Trent Dilfer that one time, dude made all the difference.

I almost want to agree and have Kaep play so these Kaep lovers can shut the hell up!!!!

26/50 for 287 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT total in his last 2 games vs the Panthers. Yeah that would have fixed everything today.

Well, in his defense that first game was very low scoring (we lost by 1 point) and it's certainly not like MVP Newton tore it up either. There weren't a lot of points scored in the second game either IIRC.

Both defenses were very good that year.
Man I wish we had a big WR like Benjamin

Its not that he's blind like Mr Magoo when it comes to seeing the football field which he has proven over and over and over and over again, its that the coaching staff, the OL, the receivers, the RB, the fans, the Webzone and the number seven made him that way.
So I guess it is back to #32 in the rankings
