I would love a game like that. I love a good defensive battle. Screw this 35-38 games.

I'm waiting for Chip to one day fully unleash his merciless Oregon offense w/ 2-pt attempts after every TD
I want a competitive game but I think we're gonna get killed

This
Got a good chance coming off great momentum and a panthers loss, somebody call Mike singletary for a punch them in the mouth speech. Call Rick Flair and Patrick Willis. We can be on the radar w/this victory. In Chip we trust!

BelieDat!
Last nights win was very important. The next two games are VERY difficult not only due to the teams we play but the timing and location. But after that we have 5 winnable games. We could be sitting at 6-2 or 5-3 at the half way point even with a loss the next two weeks.

Probably right, plus it's an away game...and Panthers lost the first game, so more adjustments coming.

It's good that the 49ers are playing two tough games on the road this early in the season...hopefully it will make the team better.

I honestly believe we have a better shot in Seattle than Carolina, Seattle is not the same team from 13-14.
I think the OL and front 7 will give them a chance.
The OL just handled one of the most talented defensive fronts.
The defense at least has the size to handle themselves.

I think if Chip can get Blaine into a dink and dunk rhythm, it could start wearing on Carolina.
But then, they still have to control Cam, which won't be easy.

I'm so glad beast mode is retired.

And their O-line is a patchwork with a less than 100% mobile Wilson.

Yeah, he sprained his ankle badly.

If we win, stupid naysayers will be talking about how poorly executed the plays were, Cam's head and how the 10 day layoff made them rusty... FTW!!

Make those Pu$$yCats Pur meow

#GoNiners

I don't like Cam or Rivera. They're just a bunch of whiners.

Come to think of it, they both do whine a lot

13.5 dogs? wtf?! seriously? Carolina just lost to the Broncos with a rookie QB? I'm not saying we win but 13.5 dogs? god damn.

Early lines opened at 14 and crept down half a point in less than 24 hrs. Should settle around -13 or -12 1/2 points.

We won't get much respect till we beat Panthers and/or cawkSuckers on the road. We still aren't getting respect.

On the radio (a lot, but not all), it's more about how bad Lambs played instead of how good we looked with the highlight of the game being that dumb ass running through the field and removing his shirt, getting surrounded by security... that's what a lot those dumbasses (outside of the Bay Area) are talking about

Good, I love being the underdog and flying under the radar. Carolina will have all the pressure this game. Every single thing is in their favor, and if they choke this one away they will be laughing stocks. If the game is close they might start to feel a noose tightening a little. Nothing to lose from the 49er perspective this game. Play hard and loose.

Yup same here, but if we pull off these next two victories, we won't be under the radar anymore. However, we still won't get as much credit as we should cause they'll down play our success (if we win) by bringing up the other team's problems as to why we got lucky ... all good tho, naysayers can keep underestimating our asses to the playoffs
