Until I see a pile of evidence to the contrary, I will assume that the coaches had enough input and are sharp enough to have been able to mostly keep the best players (with maybe an exception or two). There's starting talent and backup talent. I think some teams may have generally excellent starting talent but things fall off pretty fast in terms of the talent of their backups. It may be that the 9ers are somewhat shallow in starting talent (in general, but, again, with some exceptions) but also may have relatively more talented backups than most other teams in some positions.

Since we signed Rush, can we now call our own fans stupid mother f**kers the same way they call our FO/GM? LOL

By my count, 14 rookies, including six new UDFAs make Seahawks roster. Overall, UDFAs make up 41.5% of the roster -- 22 in all.

They are at the State we were during our 2011-2013 run, picking at the back end and up against the cap. They have to rely heavily on these kinds of players now as they age and wear down.

And signing their stud players to big contracts.

Like we did too during that time.
