Trade for a wide receiver?

So proven that the Giants made zero effort to resign him and the Eagles booted him in their first round of cuts.


He racked up some yards in a pass happy offense that was playing from behind a lot but was also the cause of a lot of interceptions due to him either running the wrong routes or just stopping prematurely. He has openly admitted to not trying hard at times.


He might be done in the NFL period. Not because of lack of talent but because he just doesnt care and leaves his QBs out to dry.

You're probably right - just wishful thinking. And the other thing is would they really want to go all-in for a big time receiver now when they don't really have a great plan at QB for the future. I'd like to think Gabbert could reach down and find something great, but that's just more wishful thinking. To me, it looks like they can do better than expected this year based on much better O-line play, a much better scheme and defense which looks better than i expected and do it with Gabbert. Maybe next year is the one where they go back to the well on QB in the draft.

well how much I'd like to see Gordon here, not at our 2nd round draft... if we can find Bowman in the 3rd (I believe) from Penn state then 2nd round is way to high for Gordon resume. I mean crap look what we got for Alton Smith and V. Davis. I'd trade CK thou

QB,WR...this is a rebuilding team. Nothing they can do at this present moment gets them to the playoffs or close.

Go look at how many pass attempts the Giants had last year and compare that to how many the 49ers had last year.

Stats are meaningless without context. Two teams in a span of a few months have told him "no thanks bro."


Kelly got rid of good players who were halfassing it. I doubt he has much patience for mediocre ones.

I'm glad Baalke made WR a priority in the offseason by spending our ample amount of cap space.....

Screw it, I'd kick Randles tires. With Rogers and Ellington down we should keep an open mind.

Our WR group, as of now, is one of the major weak points on this team.

Patton had more than a step on the guy too. Gabbert had a lot more room for error than he seemed to think. But if Gabbert starts hitting plays like that, people are going to have an entirely different feeling about him.
