I am sure Chip may have wanted to improve the team through free agency, but I am not sure he was in a pissing contest with Baalke about it. I don't believe a word from the Philly sportswriters when it comes to Chip.

A lot of people lost respect for the franchise when they fired an entire coaching staff that went 44-19-1 and promoted a "teacher".

that does not say to much for them if they are so stuck in the past that it makes them frame our team forever. i also think even when we had that coaching staff. the team got no respect. i should be used to it after all these years but the media and others hate us when we are up and hate us when we are down

The past? We are talking about a year ago and the people that made those mistakes and created that drama are all still here.

What is the difference between an official rumor and an unoffocial rumor?

This is humorous to me. I was vehemently against the Kelly hiring, predicting problems that are similar to what these "rumors" allude to. Now I find myself in the minority again, because at this point I don't believe the reporting that there are serious problems between Baalke and Kelly.

People are so eager to believe the worst that they don't even consider how flimsy the source is. The guy is directly connected to the Eagles franchise and Howie Roseman, has no connections to the 49ers, was being interviewed on a radio station that still rips on Kelly on a daily basis, at best it sounds like he's passing on something that he heard secondhand.

You're right we should take the words of random fans on a forum and their opinions on another team's city more serious than Brian Baldinger an NFL Network analyst.

Besides the roster looking like S#it without any significant improvement THIS is another reason why distractions like this will effect the players through the season its already started with the whole Kaepernick trade saga even some players chimed in last week during OTA's saying this kind of stuff can be distracting to the team as a whole.

This is why i know this season is a loss even before its going to begin. Horrible FO along with a stingy owner N a Coach that wants to run the show. yeah thats deft. a recipe for disaster.

5-11 fellas N i am being generous since we always find a way to defeat a division opponent even when we suck.
