Where did you find that info? I hope this is accurate because I had thought I saw that he wasn't scheduled to be rehabbed until after the deadline which kind of puts them in a bind. I'm not sure how I want things to play out, but I want the Niners to have as much latitude as possible.

According to Barrows, Kaepernick will be in town on Friday for a physical. Reports have been positive as Kaepernick continues his rehab up in Vail, Colorado. However, the team's doctors will want to get a better handle on things as the team works on trade negotiations, and the April 1 full salary guarantee approaches.

If he is a free agent, the Rams would be one of the teams to show *interest*.
be it from the Rams or from Kap's agents.
Rams have speed all over their offese ...and it would be a more interesting season in LA with Kap as their QB than their current group.
I can see the Broncos, Jets, Browns, and Rams having interests.
along with Suprise teams with fragile QBs who need to think about the future..

Kap's only value to the Niners is a stop gap if Blaine is injured. Goff/Wentz will not be pulled into duty year one nor should they be..

The only time I ever heard that it was an unsubstantiated rumor floating around that the Rams would be interested if he was outright released. Then it just lost steam. Of course it could theoretically be true, IF he were to get an outright release, which is never going to happen.
