It's important for professional athletes to have some time off, recuperate and spend time with his family back home for a short while. Also, it would cost a lot of money, money that Jarryd doesn't necessarily have in the meantime with his current pay cheque. I don't think Jarryd is financially stable at the moment, so that's why he has a load of sponsorship deals and commitments lined up, as well as his clothing apparel line, so that he can keep his dream alive.

Edit: Yes, he should do some third party training such as at EXOS, but he needs some $$$ first to hire the right trainers.

If Jarryd does not have money then there is issues somewhere

the extra Training is a must IMHO it would show coaching staff that he is way more serious about this


not saying he isnt serious about it but from my limited knowledge of the workings of an NFL team the shiny diamonds get the love and he needs to stand out from the other rookies

I am sure he is around with a new identity. Nice first Hayne related post. Some things are very obvious to us all lol

Hayne doesnt need to, he already has the ins and outs of NFL, hes a professional not a college kid, he knows whats to be done, first years taste is all it takes for a professional. Now he will just work at it to find his style and improve, dont give me the nuances of what it takes, professionals know what it takes.

There are a whole lot of college kids that are better than Hyde right now. He doesn't know the game as well as you would like to believe

My bad, I meant Hayne. A ton of college players know more about the game than Hayne. Hayne has a lot to learn. He wouldn't start on most top tier college teams right now.

yeah a whole lot better than hyde but not the skill set and toughened skin like hayne or the experience of professionalism.

no he wouldnt hes a professional, professionals are far more experienced at it than college virgins.
