Not sure yet, I've been doing some digging and I like what I see so far.
His secondaries are generally in the good half of the stat charts, so thats a plus.

Thats cool. As long as the DBs get better and get a pass rush to assist them.

Didn't the Buccaneers give up a HISTORIC # of passing yards last year?

He wasn't the coach of the bucs last year, I just didn't feel comfortable posting him in a browns jersey
But no the two worst teams in pass yards given up per season are
2014- Atlanta Falcons
2015- New York Giants

We have had some good DB coaches as of late, one of the consistently well-coached positions on the roster.

Hafley was one of the few coached not fired in Cleveland and would of been kept had Hue Jackson wanted him.

Maybe but under Donatell for example Carlos Rogers had his best years, Tarell Brown, Brock, Culliver, Cox, Goldson and a handful of others also did very well and many of them looked a lot worse once they left the team. Trent certainly has a good eye for DBs but the fact that the guys I listed all had their best years here has something to do with the staff we had in place.
