We are "beat down, broke and used" I no longer have the time, nor do you to read it, about the myriad of things that has transpired in a year's time. Yet, here we are, once again on the precipice of mediocrity. As an organization, the 49ers have abandoned their Super Bowl coach, quarterback, offensive and defensive coordinators and promoted a man that we all felt happy for but wondered if he could do this job. It did not take long to discover that he could not do this job. No matter what happens in the next 48 hours do not feel bad for Tomsula. He had his shot and he will get paid, either way, for that which he has produced. And what has he produced? In this fashion, I think you will be surprised to hear that he shares a similar trait with Jim Harbaugh. Tomsula got your attention. Observe: Okay, you could not look away from this beginning. Could anyone? I sure as hell could not. And man, it was awful. But we all remained hopeful. And why not? Blue collar guy, who once lived in his own car to make his dreams come true. Look, I ain't that much of a dick. I am glad he had a chance. He likely earned it. But to do so during a window of opportunity for a world championship? Wait, that did not have the impact I was looking for. Let's try that again. A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. As the season rolled on, the pressure seems to have gotten to him: I had to do it. Even if it was somebody in a chair. My point is that people made him a joke before me or you. He was a joke on the Dan Le Batard Show: "Tomsula DOES look like the first man your Mom dates after the divorce from Dad " "Tomsula looks like the guy that collects all the golf balls at driving range as you intentionally try to hit him" "Tomsula looks like the manager of a local garage who is always waiting for that part" "Tomsula looks like something a creole grandma invents to scare the grandkids" and the follow up: "You kids better stop lying or that Jim Tomsula is gonna come out of the swamp and get ya " "I think Jim tomsula just delivered my pizza, and two slices are missing..." The difference is wins and losses. Harbaugh's worst season (8-8) seems like a miracle accomplishment for this 49er unit under Jimmy T. Do you remember when Ric Flair, woooooo!, spoke to the team and got us fired up? The only part I didn't like, was when Fro said we were on the "precipice of mediocrity, l! We went past that point and continued downhill like luge on ice with WD40 on

the bottom.

Funny how everyone loved Tomsula as a DL coach, but when hes tossed into a pretty impossible situation and the team sucks, everyone hates him and calls him a big fat moron.
