A better coaching staff alone would make a huge difference. This wouldn't have been a good team no matter who was coaching but with Harbaugh or a better coach I could have seem them winning 6 or 7 games minimum. Just so much stupid s**t that falls on coaching, awful penalties, poor discipline, poor awareness of assignments, bad tackling, bad playcalling....etc.
Taking Gase at HC and leaving Fangio at DC alone would have made this a better team.

Could be back in playoffs in 2 years if competent staff and FO gets the hell out of the way

The 49ers are 1-9 on third down. They've had 2 or fewer third-down conversions five times.
The tweet I'm waiting for from you is that Geep got fired!!!
If it was going to happen it would have already. Its probably going to be an off season thing. "Tomsula will be our coach next year, but he will have some changes to his staff." - Jed York.

Beautifully said!!
Talking of WRs, I am still pis*ed with Baalke for not trading for Brandon Marshall and yet he would use a 5th round pick to draft a punter. Brandon Marshall is miles better than Torrey Smith and we wouldn't even have to blow extra huge bucks for Megatron. Or may be we can think about Alshon Jeffery too.bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

So sad how quickly the team has fallen. But I'm not surprised, this is a typical team under York's ownership

This. That will be Jed's big news at his end of year press conference. They'll find a slightly less crappy OC, team will still be terrible next year and Tomsula will be fired midseason to show that Jed means business.
