I'm sure it will be focused on the resurgence of the Cowboys. The Haley trade, the title game appearances and Deion flipping sides.

Can't forget about Norton going from the Cowboys to the Niners. Probably talk about the Niners win in 95 in Dallas with a backup QB

in the 90's Cowgirls won 2 out of the 3 Matchups and 3 Super Bowls. Very Very disappointing. I still remember like it was yesterday. Cannot believe they let Haley go and thn after the 1992 season, they let Tim Harris go. Shoulda kept both and cornered another couple of Super Bowls. 49ers woulda been the team of the 80's and team of the 90s.

Even though they only won 1 super bowl in the 90s they could still be considered the team of the decade with all those double digit win seasons from 90-98.

We played them 9 times in the 90s. We won 5, each team had a 3 game run. What's funny though, is that 1993 is the only year I felt like they were better than us. Our defense was in transition in 1993. The 1992 title game is still the one that gets to me, because we were a superior team that fumbled the game away. It totally gave a young team confidence and led to their run.

Not a chance. Super Bowl wins define the decade. Not regular season wins.

Also wacthed that 4 falls of Buffalo on ESPN's 30 for 30. Next one is on the 85 bears but I think the 89 Niners were better.

I don't rememer the 49ers letting Tim Harris go.. I know for a fact that he won a ring (1994) with the 49ers.. that's when we had all the pro bowlers in the line..

Jimmy Johnson was considered as Walsh's successor

. That was a wow moment. It would have altered the future of so many things. Not sure how JJ would have approached retaining Holmgren as OC, what happens to the Cowboys, does Pete Carroll learn Seifert's 4-3 defense.

I don't know what kind of offensive system JJ ran at Miami, but he was a defensive guy and he implemented Miami's 4-3 front in DAL. He seems like a smart guy so you don't eff with what's not broken - the WCO. He probably would have left that side of the ball alone.
