Can't be too much profit with tix selling for 30 dollars and nobody attending If things continue into next season. Kaepernick jerseys won't be selling as much either..

All gate revenue and merchandise is divided equally among all 32 NFL teams, plus with the SB and all the non-football events being held at the stadium, they will be making a lot of money for a long time, even if the team doesn't win.

If this were to happen it would have the feeling of winning that 6th Super Bowl. But I am not going to get my hopes up until there is more concrete evidence.

I can see it both ways, and there's a school of thought that at some point in your life as you get older, you decide to "simplify" and get away from the things that bring too much stress into your life. Take it easy. Spend your money instead of investing it. (I may be reaching in the York's case - they have enough $$$$ to "have their cake and eat it too" with respect to investing vs spending. There is also that "Legacy" and "Dynasty" crap too)

...but we can all dream for awhile [sigh]

5th richest dude in the world at $54.3 billion I think Ellison can throw some cash together an overpay...like you said the NFL is crapping out money and if this dude wants to own a team bad enough why not over spend a little

But in reality it's all speculation and were probably stuck with Jed ugh

I hope they would sell at some point, but don't think they will. I wouldn't be as surprised though if they went the other direction, let someone I'm as a partner to take over and run the team. Denise put pro management in place for her hockey team.
