That is a BIG stretch. Staley has been nowhere near as bad as Pears. Not even close. Staley has been the best player on the s**ttiest OL in the NFL.

This. Staley hasn't even been bad. Yes he gets beat occasionally, he's not as good as he's been in the past, but he's still a high quality LT and easily the best player on the line. People just pissed off after the loss today and want to blame everyone.

Big THUD was Tomsula, Gabbert and rest of Niners coming back down to earth after last week. Plain and simple folks; organization and team inc coaches stink. Blind squirrels find acorns every once in awhile, like last week.

It's a joke on the team if he does something with his career. If it's largely the same kap it's just another qb who went to another team and was what he was before. Mark sanchez was once in conference title games too. Don't think jets fans care much

Yes our best Olineman and a consistent probowler for a fourth or fifth rounder or ANYTHING.....makes sense

Have you been watching him this year? He's been AWFUL. Love the guy all these years but he's not Elite anymore and keeps getting beat. Father time is undefeated.



SO terrrible. Only 13th best in the NFL.

But go ahead and keep generalizing based on nothing.

That's not a big stretch at all. Staley has only been slightly above average as a run blocker and terrible as a pass blocker

Staley is still one of the best there is in the NFL at LT, he's not getting much help from the other side of the O-line which makes him look bad.
