That was some UGLY football going on yesterday.

Thank you for keeping it real!!!

Pretty much this. If we fall out of the top 6 pick range i dont see us acquring Goff. and thats "OK" i guess, but realistically i really was hoping we finished top 5 partly in case our franchise was thinking of drafting a QB and even if we dont, we sure could use a top 5 pick in a down year..

It seems we played all our teams that we won against at the perfect time. Atlanta was on fire and then hit Ice cold when they played us and have been down ever since, then you have Minnesota who didnt start performing well until AFTER we played them and our defense dominated them. Then against chicago we got Lucky as F*ck in more ways than one. we could easily be 1-11, and thats more or less realistically how our teams been playing this year. we are not even a 4-8 team, and like this thread says, its very possible we beat the Lions/Browns and the Rams, all three are very plausable and are very 50/50.. I see us finishing 6-10 and us having the 10th pick. And that just sucks. Weve lost so many players we need a blu chip. Sure he could bust, but the chances of us picking up a bust in the top 5 is alot less than the top 15.

In fairness to Balke he picked up Aldon at 11. The rookie contract is a lot more reasonable around the 10 slot as well. What's one of our glaring needs this offseason? Someone to pair with Lynch and get after the QB. I think we'll do just fine if we're picking around 10. Our record is our record, you can't pick and choose.

Aldon was 7th and rookie contracts aren't a franchise killer. Mere dollars separates 1 through 10 now. I think our biggest need year is a stud lineman. I'll love a stud pass rusher, but give me Tunsil any day and twice on Sunday.

we have so much money to spend next year, money shouldnt even be a consideration in what our troubles are next season
espceially when this franchise needs a HUGE uplift after what happened in previous years

People are whining because Harbaugh won 49 games in 4 years. This was an elite team for 3 years. Yet, Jed and the front office thought they were the architects behind the success, and any coach could be successful here.

Geep stated 'you create/scheme your offense to beat teams in your division' This team is 0-5 in the division! If you can't beat a divisional opponent, you aren't making the playoffs.

I agree with this! Best case we end up 7-9, but reality is this is a 5-11 team at best with this coaching staff. Don't let that win yesterday suggest "we're back". Now, we definitely have some talent to work with going into 2016 (more on the defensive side of the ball), but are extremely young and not being coached up, even with the amount of reps the young guys are getting. We're going to have a healthy chunk of cap to work with and Jed better!!!! Restructure the OL through FA and the draft, sign Von Miller and maybe an above average CB, and then draft whatever holes may be left. We need to draft a QB in the 1st 3 rounds to compete with Gabbert.

Ultimately though, we need to dump Baalke, Tomsula, and the rest of the staff and get in some real football IQs if we want to be a contender any time soon.

but good teams whooped us last year under harbaugh. fact is everyone is whining about getting rid of a "championship" coach and how we have the worst coaching staff of all time - but we're going to about equal harbaugh's record last year -with less talent, less experience, a new staff and a tougher schedule.

the fact that the new staff got rid of kraep is a + as i doubt bo schembechler ermm harbaugh would have done it

Yeahyou are correct sir,I see it that way,Fraudbaugh and championship dose not belong in the same sentence,Glad Fraud is gone ,good riddance.
I said 6 wins before the season started, and eight if we had a perfect storm, feeling pretty good about the six.

Even with the horrible offseason, we have decent talent, its the Wal-Mart coaching staff holding us back.
most of u are really a bunch of f**kin whiners. Its true when ppl call us that, its embarrassing. I was going to games when we were 2-14 Erickson days. if ur rooting for us to lose out, go f**k hyourself and watch the warriors

Who calls us that? Raider fans? Go to any message board and listen to any fan base, They all whine like little kids. Your post is ignorant AF. ive listened to raider fans call us "whiners" for a decade simply because they had nothing else to talk about because there team was such Sh*T for so many years..

Im happy for you that you can watch a 2-14 team and Enjoy it. Some of us however will be annoyed and talk sh*t when our team is a pile of sh*t.

no but after losing willis, borland, aldon, justin, davis to retirement (or drunkenness) i dont htink anyone expected us to do well. you dont just replace 4 pro-bowlers and a top rookie.

just having two out of a healthy willis, aldon davis back in the team and i believe we go 9-7

Yeah, this team really misses Aldon Davis.

I wouldn't call any future game this season, with this, team a win. They are way too inconsistent. Hell, they had no business winning that game, minus Gabbert. He played well. Coaching still sucked, Gould gave it away. I doubt this team 'turned the corner'.

Going 7-9 beating crappy teams along the way is nothing spectacular. The good teams in the league have whopped us.

Aldon Davis rofl
Apparently our Sunday night game against the Bengals in week 15 has already been flexed out for a different game. It's now a late afternoon game which I guess was to be expected.
If we finish 7-9 that will be incredible given how bad the offseason and year has gone.
Wanna show improvements? Blow someone out. When was the last time we didn't have to struggle and claw for a win? 2011? 2001?
