As an official myself I agree the officiating yesterday was horrendous, but in defense of the "lady ref" it's only considered a neutral zone infraction if the defense is in the neutral zone at the time of the movement by the offense. Dial obviously jumped first but I didn't see a replay that showed Dial obviously in the neutral zone so it's possible she actually made a great call on this one. I think we can agree she probably had a better angle on it than you or I lol. Not to defend the refs or anything though!

damn those refs. He yelled, "OMG WHAT ARE THOSE!!!!!!!!!!!" just as Brock was going to make the INT.

This wasn't the NFC title game or the Super Bowl, so I don't understand why so many are upset. At the end of the day this is a terrible team that is incapable of generating turnovers and scoring more than 13 points. Who cares if the refs sucked; this team sucks.

Pretty much this I just wish they would blow more calls at a faster rate. I just them standing around and discussing the calls there are already way to many stops in action.

NFL officiating sucks and will continue to suck. There's too many ticky-tack calls that are either designed to protect against lawsuits, or skew the game in favor of big passing statistics and points

The current rule book is almost as complex and incomprehensible as the tax code. The more they micro-manage, the more they screw things up. If they really want to improve the officiating, they'll scale down and simplify the rule book, but I doubt that ever happens.

Dial got screwed out of a giant play, his sack could have changed things dramatically , but it goes to show how the top QB's are coddled and babied, and we lose a hard fought game due to their f*ck ups, I'm glad the league yanked those bozo's from the steelers/colts game

Well the NFL thought this crew was bad enough on Sunday that they will be pulled from the Sunday night game and reassigned. That confirms what all of us saw, a crew that is borderline incompetent. Links below if you haven't read yet.

This is the first year in recent memory that I've seen crews be reassigned or suspended. Maybe it's just been more public this year. But I do think officiating as a whole is a complete mess. It is partly exacerbated by replay catching every little thing, but the crews do seem much more incapable this year. Not knowing the correct down is a pretty egregious officiating blunder.
