Good post. I think those two played a big part in the weak ST last Sunday. Really need Pinion to get completely healthy to handle kickoffs - it's great with his touchbacks that force every team to start their drives at their own 20. If the other team's going to score a TD after we score, make them go at least 80 yards to do it. The punt coverage team really needs to step it up with McCray out.

With 4-5 solid DB's it shouldn't be this bad.

The guy we traded away Colin Jones was a beast on ST. That move still is a head scratcher.

I blame the special teams coach, some of that blocking has been horrendous for Ellington, and either non existent or have gotten in the way for others.
yet we have a bald headed smiley face each Press conference doing this

It also underscores the outstanding performance of the defense. Falcons kept starting around midfield, but the D still stopped them. That's a tall order, but they really came through.

Not sustainable though. Give most other opposing offenses that kind of starting position, and u can guarantee a loss.
