Thought we had a bye or something. Rough times in Santa Clara. Not much to say regarding this game except that there's a lot of anticipation just in the newness of a new QB and no Vernon. As someone pointed out, we are essentially facing a poor man's Seahawk defense this week in terms of scheme. Should be an interesting gauge for how Gabbert will play in Seattle.

looking forward to seeing Gabbert run the O. ATL is missing half their starting secondary for this game. our running game should interesting.

I think he'll play decent and a good chance he plays well. He's had a chance to sit and watch. He hasn't been broken yet. I think he'll play pretty well for a few games then get owned. Regardless of what happens, this board is going to be great.

one of two things happen...

Gabbert gets knocked out of the game in the first quarter. Kap comes in and leads the Niners to victory

or

Niners get shut out tomorrow, maybe a late garbage time FG but that's it if Gabbert plays the whole game

I played this game in Madden Falcons at 49ers and did not do too good. I lost 24-17 and Gabbert threw 2 ints but he did hit Torrey Smith for a TD.

This team got nothing to loose , they already been written off by all and sundry.

I reckon they will fool everyone and get the win. wont be pretty but the Falcons may just take it easy seeing all the second string players and we will sneak it home.

17 - 13 win to the niners . we may be on the other side of the world but we still don't give up when the chips are down, and the plane is grounded.
