Just thoroughly disgusted and for the first time as a fan of 23 years, I honestly wish I could root for another team; I just can't because I've lived and died with them my whole life and committed for the long haul but truly wish I could just drop them or stop watching football altogether.

its not that bad...everyone is so emotional in the social media era

There's a bunch of us, in case you haven't noticed. There's actually a rational reason to feel like this. Many of us have been rooting for this team for decades. It's never been worse than this since the Walsh years and these owners are the most pathetic in all of football if not professional sports.

The stance that York doesn't owe us anything is b******t. As the leader of an NFL, you have an obligation to your constituents--namely, the fan base in this instance. There are a ton of other components but that's where owning a franchise is different than owning another Fortune 500 company. The good ones give a damn about the company's culture, its integrity, its image, and its fanbase. Look at the Rooneys, the Maras, Green Bay (granted they're publicly owned) etc. etc. It also comes down to a matter of self respect. What does it say about York himself if no credible coach will come to work here?

Sure, you can only care about the bottom line over everything else (including your own dignity), but perpetuating that York doesn't owe the fans anything is exactly the kind of thing he'd love to hear--and that idea is what throws s**t right in the face of every fan.

At the very least he owes the fans a competitive team by NFL standards. The product on the field now can't compete on the NFL level.

"The worst." Might want to fact check that one, boss. Statistically, it's on track to be one of the worst in franchise history if not, the worst. If they don't win another game, it's entirely possible. Even if they do luck out on a few, they still will likely set franchise lows in several categories.

Worst as being hand cuffed from cap hell, we have the luxury on turning things around next year. Something we couldn't do in the worst era of the 49ers

Conveniently add that stipulation now and dismiss statistics pointing the team in the direction of one of the worst that's existed. What does cap money matter if no one will come play here? Do you remember when we had space in 07-10 but it didn't matter because we couldn't attract any talent or coaches to come in here? What sane coach or talented free agent is going to come here after witnessing how this organization operates?

We were a bad team for years and those years is what of cap hell made the team a lack luster product

This year is no where near the years of before and not being able to sign someone

You're missing a crucial part though it's not the talent it's how the organization is being run, the whispering crap doesn't speak well of the franchise. Last year the Niners ownership purposely sabotaged the season before it even started just because they wanted to get rid of Harbaugh. They sent out leaks with rumors about Harbaugh the entire year despite the success he had, this year they're sabotaging their own quarterback who's also being run out of town.

You may be right there's a few pieces we need but look at how Baalke has butchered the drafts since 2012, he can't draft offensive pieces to save his life and he's the only guy I the front office with a clue about football. Do you really trust Baalke and York to draft the pieces needed? No respected coach would want to go anywhere near this toxic franchise
The sudden retirement of Anthony Davis and the shellshocked retardation of Kaep f**ked us in the ass.

The Harbaugh and Kaep fans are pushing the 'get rid of York' rant, cause they have no one left to blame.

York is an idiot. You don't have to be a kap or har fan to know that. Forcing potential HC to take Tomsula as a DC was beyond retarded. And now here we are without Adam Gase, sitting at 2-6. Balkee was ready to pull the trigger.

The difference between this 2015 team, and 2007 team was that we have more talent than that team.

We have a better QB, RB isn't better, gore was still young at that time, we have better WR's, our OL is in question.

Defensively we're are better than the 2007 team. Only good thing was we had Bryant Young still, and a rookie Patrick Willis. that's really about it.

We should be better than 2-6

We need a new HC ASAP!

It's true the Guys that Jed Hired are now being shown in the spot light and need to step up. But, There is no way anyone would sabotage themselves into making what they own worthless.

If there is a Rat then Jed needs to find him or them and get rid of them.

we had a better OL in those years then what we have now. Larry Allen jump started Gore's career.

going off memory..but i think we were at the end of paying for players that weren't there anymore. We could go after only one FA and had over pay them.

We do have better skill position guys, but none of that works when you can't get time to throw.

We can turn this around easily next year. Baalke doesn't have the luxury to get a diamond in the rough anymore...he needs to start taking the BPA
Dumpster fire.

We are screwed with ZERO hope in sight. Who is drafting this high pick next year? Baalke??? Who runs the team next year? York? Whos coaching the players?

Its a cluster F... from the top down.

I'm curious to hear what's going through everyone's mind at this point.

What does everyone think of the Kap Situation, is he done now? is Tomsula going to remain the Coach after this season?

For me Currently, i feel like this is it for Kap either way, but i also think that this isn't all on him. The OL, and i feel like the coaching isn't helping him.

But really its going to come down to how Gabbert plays to see where they really stand, then again you can't base it off Gabbert, theres no expectations for him.

I'd feel a lot better if Hyde were still in, and healthy in this situation. I wish Tomsula would get a clue and know that Devey is killing this Line, as well as Pears.

Tiller needs to start, common sense. The Vernon Davis situation was expected, i'm not surprised there.

Tomsula needs to go, i hate to say it, but that guy doesn't have a clue, we need to start from scratch.

On sunday once again, this team will not look the same. with Gabbert, and Thomas, or who ever starts at RB.

I'm just lost for this team right now, i hate Jed York and Baalke, i love the team, but hate the Front Office with a passion. This stadium has not been good to us so far. and it's sad. We left Candlestick champions, and now are in Santa Clara as a damn joke.

So hard to show love to this team because i don't want to show any support towards the front office.

These players deserve better. This is a straight vent for me, i'm lost for this team, i will always still watch the games until i can't bear to watch a s**t show if it gets

to that point, i will wear my 49er gear, but i will never show support to Jed York ever! not until he fixes this mess. Not like he cares i know.

We went from a Top Contender to an Oakland Raider team of the last 12 years. Not sure how to feel anymore,

I feel like our 2004-2010 seasons were worse than this, which is why we should bounce back quicker than last time, but Tomsula isn't a good start to that.

Spend some damn good money on a coach Jed! You owe us a damn Winning team!

It was a meltdown beyond anything i can recall. This Niner version has so MANY issues.....but....What gets me is how Baalke.. as GM, seemed unable to SEE ahead, seemed unable to ACT, in any good way. We SEE the problems ,but there's many and they are like an interlocking puzzle. Right now it's not easy to point a finger at this or that.. but as this season moves along.. likely we get a better take on what's salvageable.
