I'll give you Roethlisberger, of course Kap isn't in the 'raping a chick' neighborhood, but Kap is so far away from being a team leader and also, over performing under pressure and being clutch in big moments of games that matter that he will never prove to have the characteristics that franchise, super bowl winning QBs show on the field and off.

One more quick point, say what you want to about Roethlisberger, he is a world class douche bag, but one thing he does have is, the full respect from his team and coaching staff and he has also proven over and over and over again that when a play needs to be made (like a TD to win a Super Bowl) he gets the job done, he performs when his team needs it the most. Whatever that 'clutch' or 'coolness under pressure' quality of leadership that he and other franchise QBs show is, it's something that Kap just doesn't have, I he's proven that over and over and over again.

I'm with you just on the fact that it's really embarrassing, but I think the fact that our team is on a downward spiral makes it much worse.

This team is a mess N yet our beloved owner is hiding like a little b*tch that he is instead of taking control of his team. I blame Baalke N York for these distractions at the end of the day both decided sign Kap to a long term contract.

I'm against trading kap but after reading this I wouldn't be suprised if we did :/

so apparently it's Bowman who dislikes Kap and much of the team is siding with their leader. Kap is done is SF unless he somehow puts the team on his back and gets them to the playoffs. and we all know that ain't hattening!

On the field, yes, those guys are in another class, but you were really reaching before when you asked have you heard of Favre, etc getting in that kind of mess.

Not to suggest that if this is what Kaepernick did it is ok, but theses players are professionals and their career and income are often times tied to there performance. I would find it difficult to believe they would sacrifice there well being to make Kaepernick look bad.

How did you come to that conclusion? If Bowman isn't dowm with Kap, that is going to cause serious problems. I view him and Boldin as 1 and 1A in terms of team leaders.
