Start Thomas. He can't be this bad. If he is, he has potential to improve.

I really think our ownership down to our GM have NO CLUE how the game of football works. When we were winning, our team had already been put together by scott mccloughan. Harbaugh put everything else together. I've said since they started the rumors about Harbaugh last year, this team has horrible leadership. Harbaugh was the intangible that would have kept this team relevant for years to come. Not to mention it gave our team an identity. That has all been flushed away because of our ownerships ignorance.

So why trade for a guy that is known to be absolutely terrible instead of risking $6 million dollars on a player who's had one down year being miscast in a scheme he's not fit for? Makes zero sense to a team that was in desperate need of good o-lineman.

There aren't unemployed OL worth working out...it's important to understand part of the reason our OL is in disarray is Anthony Davis. He didn't announce he was retiring 'til June, after the FA period and the draft. He put Baalke in a tough situation to try & acquire suitable OL. I think they made a mistake in letting Looney go though...he could play both C and OG and is better than Martin. If you watched yesterday's game, one thing that should've stood out to you is there weren't very many open receivers, cause in part for Kap's sacks/hits. Kap's had his own problems getting passes to receivers, but as a group, they don't seem to be helping that much.

It's good their working out Parys Harralson. I mean they need help rushing the passer and its not like they released one of the best pass rushers in the NFL for getting in a minor car accident. Get out your hoses, this dumpster fire is getting bigger.

it was more than a minor car accident, every year Aldon got into some kind of $hit and left us hanging without our best pass rusher due to his behavior , you'd expect a grown ass man to act accordingly , but he kept blaming everyone else for the messes he made, and STILL couldn't accept responsibility for his actions ....even though we need his play on the field, a lot of the fan base grew tired of his act

Because Devey was just another option for the coaching staff. He didn't cost them a thing, Cleveland didn't make the Patriots roster and he wouldn't have made the 49ers roster. It is up to the coaching staff to decide who starts, with Devey struggling, they should consider replacing him with someone else, regardless of "chemistry."

You're diverging from my original statement which was Baalke whiffed on trading for Devey instead of trying to get Levitre. It's pretty obviously the truth considering how both have faired for their respective teams regardless of cost. Isn't it the GM's job to improve the team?

I can understand if you give up a good player or take on a ton of salary, but in this case, they didn't gain or lose anything. It was shuffling the deck, seeing if a particular player can better succeed in a different environment. Cleveland didn't catch on with the Patriots and Devey won't last on this roster. Neither team lost anything of value.

Haralson? Knows the defense and after yesterday, it looks like Mangini is going back to rotating the OLB's to pass rush and set the edges. Brooks, Lynch, Harold and Haralson. Not bad and this is probably a good sign more than anything if you can look paste your piss-colored glasses. LOL
