Reasons to boooo the Vikings - In the 1987 playoffs, the Vikings upset a heavily favored 49ers team in the Divisional Round, 36-24. - In the last encounter, the Vikings defeated the visiting 49ers 24-13 on September 23, 2012. - The Vikings made one of the most lopsided trades in NFL history by acquiring Herschel Walker, which helped provide the Cowpies with assets to build their 90's dynasty. If not for the dumb penalties in the first half we'd have put up 30 points on them. Ellington return called back and the blocked fg, which I think would have been a TD but for the Martin hold call.

Just think on that, we'd have blown them out - and the errors were 1st game of the season mental errors.
