Pretty much have no faith in anyone other than Boldin. Now we know how Kap feels.

I think this guy can be huge if he plays tonight if Boldin is unable to play, don't trust Patton at all against this defense.

Yeah Patton gets pushed around too easily. But if we can get him in the open field he is a dangerous weapon... oh yeah and if he can hold on to the ball in the open field..

Boldin hasn't done much vs Seattle since he's been here. Speedy WRs as well as TEs hurt them. Need Patton on the field. He can certainly make some plays if given a chance

Patton and hopefully Ellington as well. Underneath crossing routes/picks/rub routes might be a good plan. What do you guys think?

IMO its a matter of offensive philosophy and playing styles that has hurt Patton the most. Patton would be a Pro bowler if he was playing in the NE offense with Brady throwing the football. His WR strengths dont mesh well with Kaps throwing strengths IMO, and he definitely didn't fit the previous regimes offensive philosophy. Im encouraged by some things i have seen this season, and hope we can continue to work him into more situations to be successful.

Barrows just said he can't be, would have had to be activated on Wednesday apparently.

Thats awesome...so if Boldin is a no-go......Seattle will just roll coverage to Torrey

They will do that regardless with their single high safety. Boldin isn't a threat to just blow by Williams so they will take their chances with that match up and provide help over the middle with Kam, in my opinion. We need to stay out of 3rd and long and we can win this game

Right now, if we go three wide, we're better off having Boldin in the slot to overwhelm their slot guy. Run trips set with Ellington. If we rest Boldin at all, we're going to have to utilize Ellington and Patton with Torrey. That's three guys who all have speed, although with Patton it's a bit more quickness than speed.

Wear down their defense, then blast the seams with Celek and Vernon.
Simpson not activated for tonight's game, per maiocco.
I think they're waiting 'til after the game tonight...activating him would mean cutting someone else...someone who's had all the practices under their belts that'd arguably be more useful to go against Seattle. Look for him to be activated tomorrow. He'll be a welcome receiver for Kap...another guy with size and speed.

No, they have a roster exemption for him, so they have until next week to cut someone. I just think that asking a guy to be ready to go after 2 practices after missing almost half the season.

Yeah after tonight, no game this weekend, extra time to evaluate the guys and move forward. Coaches are fixated on a short turnaround and tonight's game.

They have until tomorrow to make a move.
