Maybe I go with 1-year suspension with no pay while paying his next rehab stay, if only to consider his personal well being aside from the game. But I doubt the CBA or league would allow such a thing.

I voted for keep him. He's too good to let him just walk to a division rival. He's our best player.
It sucks, because I want to strangle him. He's just too damn good to cut him IMO.

Um, if we cut him like most of the zone are calling for, we lose control of where he plays.

Cutting him now may also cause a cerfluffle with the players union. He's on the roster for next couple of weeks at least. And this isn't because the 49ers want to stay out of trouble, but the NFL may also want to minimize player union issues
