Seems silly that they post a line this early. Draft. Training camps. Injuries. Pre Season. - then put out a betting line.

Ah well, must take money from the desperate, errr - hopeful, as soon as possible.

The key to getting a jump on the spread is to find a team that hits its' stride quickly. The spread-makers go by the previous years' performance and don't catch up with the current years' spread until 4 or 5 weeks into the season.

Worthless at this point in the season. It's just click bait as we have no idea what the rosters for all teams will look like in September.

^ right. Like I said, It'll be interesting to see how much it changes by game time (for ALL teams)

If Vikes trade Peterson and the 9ers look like they're clicking during pre-season it'll go up to 6. If Peterson is back w/ a vengeance and we're stumbling still trying to find ourselves in the pre-season it could drop to a pick-em.

True. I think the standard model is an automatic 3 points for playing at home.
