Feel free to watch Blaine throw 4 yards short of the 3rd down marker all day that was awesome! Blaine got sacked plenty and actually had more INTs then Kap last yr.

Blaine would have won 1 game if not for 2 blown FGs last yr lol.

Yea, but he was efficient at hitting checkowns.

Don't get me wrong you got to be able to be effective doing that as well...but s**t all the time lol?

We will see what happens, I'd prefer Kap.

I mean if you got the time to check all of them go right ahead ...I'm willing to bet not every pick was all on him either.

It's really hard for me to put any stock into anyone's play last season...they were all setup to fail.

"In Kaepernick's first team period, he completed one of two throws," continued Biderman. "But in the following seven-on-seven drill, Kaepernick had the worst stretch of practice we've seen during training camp. He completed 5 of 11 and was intercepted along the left sideline by linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong on a ball he was trying to throw away"

Yeah I read all the highlights Blaine didn't do much either both played poorly in a practice.

You could have said his 2014 yr was his best year stat wise
...you think anyone on our team step it up a notch last season? Everyone sucked a big ol' dick.

From what I remember he never played well during practices...how about we wait and see some preseason games?

Lol. We already went through this a couple of pages ago. Kaps stats dropped drastically in the 2ND half of 2014.

I agree Gabbert will frustrate us by not stretching the field enough, but it does sound like he is working on it, and I expect it will continue.

I'll put my stock in the QB that can actually think on his feet. Even a check down is preferable to a sack fumble, or even a sack.

One of the most meaningless things to complain about.

Really? Kap has shown a steady decline the last 2 years and it started in the preseason of 2014. His crap play in the preseason has carried over to the regular season. That's called a trend. Plus if he wants to get his job back he better perform better this preseason then the last 2. Some of you clearly aren't thinking logically.

Well, it's not like there were that many to check. 5 in eight games isn't bad really, especially if 4 of them came in one game. But looking back at them just to double check, none of them really were the kind that hit a receiver in the hands just to pop into a defender's.

But yeah, I agree. Hard to read too much into anything.

And what has Blaine done? He went from the worst starting QB in the league to barely being a starter last yr winning 3 games two because of blown FGs.

He had 3, 5, and 5 passing attempts last preseason?

I remember Bradford and philly throwing up a ton of points in preseaon lol how's the go come regular season?

Lol. Ironically the preseason before that Kap played an entire half, went 6 got 13 passing and still couldn't get us into the endzone against second/third stringers. I'm trying to figure out what "franchise QB" can't lead a single touchdown drive in a preseason game.

Dude had better stats than can Newton that yr...did everyone say he was over? He declined after his rookie yr.

I'm not saying he's gonna be great I just think he gives the team an better chance at winning with chip.

We will see.

IMO we will be drafting a QB in 2017

Blaine hasn't been given must of a chance until last year and he outplayed Kap. That's a fact. I'll take a guy like that that has potential than a guy who seems to be getting worse every year.

Why was Kap playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers when he was the starting QB? I wonder if teams throw out their actual offenses in preseaon

Aaron Rogers didn't throw for a TD in preseaon last yr...

He was given a starting job for 2 1/2 yrs and played like the worst QB in the league. He played awful last yr and should have won 1 game.

Got out played by Manziel then threw 3 INT in Cin the next week.

Kaep attempted 13 passes last preseason and this guy is trying to talk about "trends".
